The cost of raising a child in Oregon is $17,400 higher than it was last year.
Childcare is becoming increasingly unaffordable under President Trump, but I am fighting to make sure that parents can spend more time with their children and less time worrying about costs.
Our national treasures belong to the American people, not to the highest bidder.
The Trump Administration is trying to roll back protections for nearly 60 million acres of our public lands, threatening the communities that rely on them. I'm speaking up against their attacks.
Next stop, the Moon 🌙
Thank you to astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen for stopping by. We are so proud of you and all the people who made NASA's Artemis II a reality 🚀
David’s House and Polk Community Resource Center are working to meet the needs of our community members who need it most.
Watch to hear more about these critical programs in #OR06 🏡

The Trump administration is driving up the cost of childcare.
We wrote to the admin warning against the reversal of limits on childcare payments and the financial harm this would cause for women and families. They did it anyway.

Hardworking families deserve the chance to live in the communities where they work.
Projects like the Housing Innovation Village Experience help make that possible.
If we want stronger communities, we need to build more quality housing people can actually afford.

Farmers are looking at fertilizer prices above $780/ton through 2028. Trump's trade wars drove up input costs.
Republicans' answer? A farm bill that does nothing about any of it and blindly backing the war with Iran.

I will keep working to ensure that our law enforcement officers have the support they need to do their jobs.
Thank you for your service. #PoliceWeek (2/2)
As the daughter of a police officer, I know the sacrifices our brave officers (and their families) make to keep our communities safe. They have a hard job right now as they try to navigate the lawlessness of ICE and CBP and their duty to keep ALL of our community members safe. (1/2)
Good to be back in #Monmouth!
I toured City Hall with Mayor Koontz and then dropped by the Monmouth Senior Center to talk about some of the projects that matter most to their community. Thanks for having me!

Under President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” food stamp applicants are fighting to prove eligibility and facing questions about birthday gifts sent over Zelle. A crisis in Arizona offers a warning for America.
I was in #Newberg to deliver $750,000 in federal funding to help with the construction of water basins!
This funding will ensure that the Newberg Water Plant can provide the community with reliable, clean drinking water for years to come.
Families should not have to dip into their savings to make ends meet.
Trump has made life miserable for hardworking Americans. It needs to stop.
Parents and caregivers are often the first to notice changes in mood, sleep, appetite, or behavior. Those shifts can be signs a child needs extra support. #MentalHealthMonday
Happy Mother’s Day, #OR06 💝 Cheers to all the incredible moms, grandmas, and motherly figures in our lives. Today, we celebrate you 💐
From creating jobs to building community, small businesses are the backbone of our economy.
Our small businesses deserve the resources and support to keep their doors open. I will continue to be their partner and work to deliver real policies that support them. #SmallBusinessWeek
Happy Jewish American Heritage Month! Join me in celebrating the history and contributions of our Jewish neighbors here in #OR06.
I’m dedicated to combating antisemitism and uplifting Jewish voices across the Willamette Valley and the United States. #JewishAmericanHeritageMonth
During my visit to @uoregon.bsky.social's Portland campus, I was excited to learn about their groundbreaking work in children’s behavioral health and prevention science, and to discuss how we can expand these innovative programs nationwide. 💚💛 (2/2)
Expanding our behavioral health workforce so every child gets the support they need is a top priority. (1/2)
