Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads, grandpas and father figures in the Inland Empire and around the country! Wishing everyone a great day spent with loved ones.
Happy Juneteenth!
Today, we are reminded of the progress we have made and the work that lies ahead in our ongoing quest for justice, equality and freedom for all.
I joined @chu.house.gov and @gomez.house.gov to demand DHS Secretary Mullin immediately investigate reports of retaliation against detainees at the Adelanto ICE Facility for their hunger strike protesting unsafe conditions and for meeting with us during an oversight visit.
$70 billion for ICE.
$0 to bring down costs for working families.
Republicans’ priorities do not lie with the American people.
‘I love the inflation’
That was Trump’s response when asked about the skyrocketing costs crushing American families.
The President does not care about working people.
I am heartbroken by the loss of eight U.S. Air Force crew members in an aircraft crash at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
My prayers are with their loved ones as they mourn this devastating tragedy.

Statement from Chairman Aguilar on the 14th Anniversary of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program.
Throughout my time in Congress, I’ve fought to make life better for the brave men and women who served our country and ensure that they get the care and benefits they need. I’ll never stop working to deliver for veterans and uphold our promise to them.

It’s been over 100 days since the start of Trump’s war with Iran.
Costs are up. 13 servicemembers have lost their lives. And the President still has no clear plan or off ramp for this conflict.
While Republicans cut your health care to give tax breaks to billionaires and let ICE brutalize American communities, House Democrats are working to lower your costs and hold the Trump administration accountable.
We will never stop fighting for working families.
Excited to represent the Inland Empire at tonight’s Congressional Baseball Game!

Families in the Inland Empire and across the country are paying more for gas, groceries, housing and utilities under Trump and Republicans.
And Republicans are doing nothing about it.
Instead of lowering the costs of health care or groceries, House Republicans want to give ICE another $70 BILLION to continue their chaos without any reforms or guardrails.
I voted NO on the reckless Republican budget bill.
Trump says there’s no money for healthcare.
But apparently there are billions of dollars for ICE and his costly war with Iran.
The President does not care about working people.
Your tax dollars should make your life safer and more affordable.
But instead of lowering costs for working families, Republicans’ budget bill gives ICE another $70 billion to continue brutalizing our communities without any accountability or oversight.

Trump promised to lower costs on “day one” and said there would be “no new wars.”
More than 500 days into his second term, the only thing Trump has delivered are broken promises.
It was great to meet the Inland Empire high school students heading to a United States Service Academy next year! This accomplishment takes courage, sacrifice and patriotism.
Congratulations to Anne Macayra, Brandon Hanson, Sean Ronnie, Cole Pacheco and Xavier Felipe!
The American people want lower grocery and gas prices.
Not a costly war with Iran.
