House passage of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act is indeed a big win for affordable housing. Amid the affordability crisis, Congress should do all it can to lower prices and address kitchen table issues for American families. This is a big step: beyer.house.gov/news/documen...
Big win for a bipartisan housing affordability bill in the House. Now goes back to the Senate. Section-by-Section of the plan at financialservices.house.gov/uploadedfile...
Donald Trump gets elected and he gets: ▪️ $2.6 billion (and counting) in cash and gifts ▪️ A ballroom ▪️ An arch ▪️ Over $3 billion in pardons to his allies ▪️ A $1.8 billion slush fund for J6ers and his friends ▪️ A lifetime free pass on taxes for himself, his family, and his companies
Justice Department expands Trump settlement to cover his tax audits
FLASH: DOJ expands settlement in Trump-IRS leak suit to cover audits of all tax returns filed by Trump, family members, companies and trusts. Waiver of IRS' claims contained in addendum signed by AAG Blanche that was not in agreement released Monday www.politico.com/news/2026/05...
Trump had his personal lawyer, who he installed atop the Justice Department, give him a get-out-of-jail-free card for past, present, and future tax fraud. Stealing taxpayer money and covering up future financial crimes for himself and his family at the same time.
BLANCHE: "The United States...is hereby FOREVER BARRED and PRECLUDED from prosecuting or pursuing...examinations or similar or related reviews" against Trump "or related or affiliated individuals," including family members or related companies and trusts.
My thoughts are with the Muslim American community, who continue to face the growing threat of Islamophobia. It is heartbreaking that so many Americans no longer feel safe gathering in their communities, attending their houses of worship, or sending their children to school or day care.
I send my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed, and to everyone grieving yesterday’s horrific act of violence at the Islamic Center of San Diego. I also recognize the courage of security personnel and first responders, whose actions helped prevent greater tragedy.
My office and I are aware of the active shooter situation at the Islamic Center of San Diego. We don't have any details about a potential motive yet, but I'm devastated for those students, worshippers, and the Clairemont community. Everyone should be able to pray, worship, and learn in peace.
Trump's slush fund would give nearly $2 BILLION in taxpayer dollars to his supporters, including violent criminals. He's just stealing your money. There's no transparency, we won't know who gets paid, or how much. It's illegal and corrupt as hell. We're fighting it in court.
BREAKING: 93 House Democrats have filed a motion to block Trump’s self-dealing settlement in his sham $10 billion IRS lawsuit, which would create a $1.7 billion slush fund for Jan. 6 rioters and political allies.
For over 50 years, the Endangered Species Act has helped iconic species like the bald eagle recover from the brink of extinction. On Endangered Species Day, we celebrate these conservation successes and work to protect the richness and diversity of America’s wildlife.
This is just stealing money from American taxpayers and giving it to Trump's supporters, including many who were convicted of heinous crimes in a court of law. Open theft and grand larceny on a massive scale from the most corrupt president in history. abcnews.com/US/trump-poi...
