Yesterday, he received a presidential pardon from Donald Trump and is a free man.
Much of the investigation into him was conducted during the first Trump administration.
This man trafficked 400 tons of cocaine into the United States. He was sentenced to 45 years in prison for his crimes.

Thank you to @ameracadpeds.bsky.social, @campaign4kids.bsky.social, SPOON Foundation and @unicefusa.org for their support of this bill and dedication to helping kids thrive.
I'm proud to introduce the bipartisan Global Child Thrive Reauthorization Act of 2025 with Reps. McCormick, Olszewski and Fitzpatrick, which helps nurture and support vulnerable children around the world.
Dismantling the department means pulling support for students with special needs, weakening civil-rights protections, and upending loan programs that make college accessible.
Instead, he’s cutting experienced staff and reassigning duties to other agencies. Even Republicans are worried.
Trump wants to eliminate the Department of Education. But he can’t without Congress.
3+ million Texans rely on healthcare subsidies to afford their health insurance.
In Congress, I’m pushing to extend these subsidies AND open enrollment so folks can stay insured.

He is responsible for the deaths of countless American citizens, and will now be pardoned by Donald Trump.
Don’t tell me Donald Trump is killing people in boats in the Caribbean to stop drug trafficking.
The Justice Department estimated that this represents 4.5 billion doses of cocaine and that he was “at the center of one of the largest and most violent drug-trafficking conspiracies in the world.”

In the wake of the shooting of two National Guard members, I am praying for the family of Sarah Beckstrom and for the recovery of Andrew Wolfe. Such violence has no place in our society and we cannot let it tear us apart.
No answers, no transparency, and no evidence. Texans deserve better.
It's un-American to round people up and claim they have ties to a gang without evidence or proof. Especially as 92 people got caught in the crosshairs and were charged with NOTHING—including two teenage boys who were grabbing something to eat—just to meet quotas.
