According to ICE’s own policies, she should never have been locked away while pregnant. What should have been a joyous time for her family became a nightmare under the Trump Administration’s cruel mass deportation machine. It is shameful.
Darisbel should be released immediately.
She began experiencing bleeding and went to the hospital. She learned that she miscarried. As she was grieving the loss, ICE chained her to her hospital bed.
Darisbel Quintero Morillo and her husband Gilbert were living in Dallas and hoping to start a family. Darisbel learned that she was pregnant after she had been detained and locked away in an ICE prison.
Thank you for all your help celebrating Latino and Texas talent!
I am proud to share that three of the songs you helped nominate were selected to be inducted into the prestigious National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress—“Mambo No. 5” by Pérez Prado, “Texas Flood” by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, and “Feliz Navidad” by José Feliciano.
Victor, Monserrat, and Maria are on their way home! Thank you to the entire San Antonio community for speaking out and demanding their release from the Dilley trailer prison. We will not stop until all children are free.
Dr. Rubeliz Bolivar Barrios has been released! She should never have been locked away by ICE. As an emergency and trauma doctor, she served patients in South Texas with dedication. I am grateful that she will be reunited with her 5 year-old daughter Milena and husband.
Thank you to everyone who spoke up—your voice made a difference!
The Uzcategui-Labrador family is coming home to San Antonio! 5th grader Victor, 2nd grader Monserrat, and stepmom Maria will be released from the Dilley trailer prison, where they were locked away after being targeted at a school bus stop in San Antonio.
His classmates wrote him letters telling him how much they miss him. ICE should release the family immediately. These children belong at school and at home.
The students in Victor’s fifth grade class know how much he loves playing soccer. ICE targeted him and his sister Monserrat, a second grader, and stepmother at the bus stop and are currently locked away at the Dilley trailer prison.
Olivia Andre, a 19-year-old nursing student, spent six months inside the Dilley Trailer Prison.
But thanks to the advocacy of her family, Congresswoman Pingree, Miss Rachel and attorneys she’s headed home to Maine this afternoon. In a few hours she’ll be home with her family.

Nayib Bukele has long targeted journalists with spyware and intimidated them into silence or exile.
With this action against journalists at El Faro, which has done excellent work exposing Bukele's ties to gangs, El Salvador under Bukele continues its descent into authoritarianism.
ICE does not want you to see the cruel reality for children and their families locked up at Dilley.
Children like Victor and Monserrat who were picked up at a bus stop miss their dad and school—and it’s not just them. 93 children remain locked up and it’s not right. #FreeOurChildren
There is too much at stake to accept ignorance. We are at war alongside Israel against Iran without knowing what their red lines are for using a nuclear weapon.
I led a group of 30 lawmakers to demand an end to the ambiguity.
For nearly six decades the U.S. has voluntarily remained in the dark on Israel's nuclear capabilities.
The ambiguity ends now.
This is the total cruelty of Trump’s mass deportation machine. I'm asking for Kevin’s parents to be released immediately so that they can be with their son. www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/c...
Kevin González is only 18. He is suffering from stage 4 colon cancer and has days to live. He’s desperate to spend his last moments with his parents, but ICE detained his mom and dad after they tried to seek humanitarian asylum.
They gave me notes to give to their father—they miss him, their classmates and teachers. Children belong at home and at school. We won’t stop until we shut down Dilley and #FreeOurChildren.
ICE targeted elementary school students, Victor and Monserrat, and their stepmother, Maria Betania, at the bus stop in San Antonio. Now, they are locked away at the Dilley trailer prison. I met with them at Dilley yesterday.
