We’re on the brink of the longest government shutdown in American history. Health care costs are soaring & Americans are suffering. Republicans need to come back from their vacations & end this crisis.
Democrats want to address rising health care premiums, pass a budget, and end this shutdown. But Trump is more focused on his ballroom & wasting taxpayer money on luxury jets for Kristi Noem.
We’re one month into a shutdown. The government is closed. Folks are facing increasing health care costs & losing their food assistance. Speaker Johnson says Congress has done its job. Give me a break.
Food assistance is ending for millions of Americans because of the shutdown. Kids are about to go to school hungry. It's absolutely cruel. Republicans need to end this shutdown.
Why is Speaker Johnson refusing to swear in an elected Member of Congress? Because Adelita Grijalva would be the final vote needed to release the Epstein files.
Republicans continue to postpone the swearing-in of Adelita Grijalva, the newest Democrat elected to Congress, for a 30th day. She now holds the record for the longest wait to be sworn in of any special House election winner in decades.
I recently spoke with my constituent, Tanya. She told me about the skyrocketing health care costs she’s facing. Her message to Republicans: stop your vacation, get back to work, and do your job. I’m fighting for Coloradans like Tanya hurt by this shutdown.
Trump’s building himself a $300 million ballroom. Kristi Noem gets two new private jets. Billionaires receive massive tax cuts. Meanwhile, Republicans are keeping the government closed and letting Americans go hungry.
You can’t make this sh*t up. Republicans are on vacation. Instead of doing their jobs, they are… practicing the “art of leaf blowing.” While they fiddle around, working people suffer.
The government has been shut down for 29 days. Republicans are on vacation. Trump is out of the country. It’s time for them to return to Washington & fix the problem they created.
The foreign policy establishment loves to talk about “rules based order.” Nobody outside the beltway knows what it means. Most Americans think it’s just bullshit. Not the rules, but our inconsistency to hold ourselves to the same standards.
