Donald Trump put a Fox News commentator in charge of the Pentagon. His Vice President was talking about war plans in a Signal chat.  He says he knows better than the generals.  This is who is putting our men and women in uniform in harm’s way.
Trump lied about the state of Iran’s nuclear and missile programs. He lied when he said generals said this war would be “easily won.” He lied when he said he would end forever wars. I’m sick and tired of politicians sending working class kids to die for a lie.
I was a teenager when George W. Bush took us to war in the Middle East based on lies. Like everyone in my generation, I have friends who never came back from that endless war or never came back the same. We cannot let Donald Trump do that to another generation of Americans.
I’m sick and tired of politicians sending other people’s kids to fight and die in endless wars. It’s not D.C. politicians whose lives get put at risk. It’s not their billionaire donors’. It’s working class kids. Enough.
Congress must do everything in its power to stop Trump’s illegal war, including reconvening for an immediate vote on a War Powers Resolution. But we will also need millions of Americans to speak out and demand an end.
Yet again, an American president is sending other people’s kids to risk their lives in a senseless regime change war. Yet again, we will lose lives, spend billions, and end up dragged into decades of instability.
Here’s a story way more people should be talking about. Donald Trump is about to try to ram through another massive tax break for the super rich. Hell no. Not one more cent for the Epstein class.
We must ban surveillance pricing now before even more companies start using AI to charge you more based on your personal data. I’ve introduced the first federal bill to ban it, and I’m glad to see a proposal in New Jersey to do the same.
I took some time at home after my son’s birth. It was the most meaningful time of my life. I was lucky. But this shouldn’t be a matter of luck. All Americans should be able to take time — for a new baby, to get better or care for a sick loved one, and to enjoy life.
The Department of Justice has illegally “withheld some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor." The biggest coverup in presidential history just got worse. Release the files.
Americans don’t need a rambling, two hour lecture from Trump. We need our money back. He owes us: — $1,700 in illegal tariffs per family; — $4 billion he’s profited off the presidency; — $1 trillion he stole in tax breaks for the ultra-rich. Spare us the speech. Pay up or shut up.
BREAKING: MeidasTouch and MoveOn are hosting the People’s State of the Union on the National Mall as Dems boycott Trump’s address. Hosted by Katie Phang and Joy Reid, it will feature lawmakers alongside federal workers, immigrants, and Americans impacted by Trump’s policies. Watch on our YouTube.
