No matter how much the Administration pretends otherwise, the law is clear: the government must protect Americans from housing discrimination. I'm proud to stand with fair housing organizations fighting back against Trump's illegal dismantling of fair housing enforcement.
Donald Trump is right about this: Eliminate the debt limit—its only real function is to threaten an economic crisis. I'm ready to work with both Democratic and Republican Senators to immediately scrap the debt ceiling and protect the economy.
The Trump administration withheld that nearly 100 U.S. service members were injured in war with Iran. Then, it quietly tried to cut the official death count from 18 service members to 14. It’s a slap in the face to our troops and their families.
For no other reason than cruelty, Trump is threatening to deport Haitians who are contributing to the Massachusetts economy. It's wrong. Congress should reinstate TPS protections, not let Trump rip people out of communities and send them into immediate danger.

The ROAD to Housing Act includes my bipartisan bill to help more families turn a housing voucher into a home. We made real, bipartisan progress to make housing more affordable, but @warren.senate.gov is right: we can't stop now.
Donald Trump promised to cap credit card interest rates at 10% months ago. Still hasn’t happened. @protectborrowers.bsky.social and @tcfdotorg.bsky.social found every single day Trump fails to act, it’s costing families an extra $368 million in credit card interest.
Egg producers got caught colluding to inflate prices—and Trump let them off with a measly $3.3 million fine. One company alone made $1.2 billion in profit last year. Big corporations cheat, and Trump lets them off the hook.
DOGE and the Trump administration pushed 7,800 workers out of Social Security. Now it's scrambling to hire people back as seniors face longer waits for fewer appointments. What did Trump and DOGE accomplish besides making it harder for people to get the benefits they earned?
The CFPB is supposed to protect consumers. But Trump has used it to protect his big corporate donors instead. I asked Trump's CFPB nominee if he'll stand up to the corruption.
Warren: The CFPB sued Capital One, your current employer, for cheating customers out of $2 billion.

Warren: But after Capital One donated $1 million to [Trump’s] inaguration, the case was dropped.

Warren: Will you commit to notifying Congress if the
White House contacts you about enforcement against [...] a big donor that cheated families?
Johnson: I don’t anticipate that it would [happen].

Warren: That’s not my question.
My question is, if it does, will you notify Congress?

Johnson: I‘m not going to engage in a hypothetical —

Warren: So, the answer is no.
You will not try to hose out the corruption.
Donald Trump and RFK Jr. cut the team tracking cyclospora by more than 70%. Now we've got a nationwide outbreak. We should be investing in public health — not gutting it.
I've long fought to ban congressional stock trading, but the House Republican-passed bill has MAJOR LOOPHOLES. Lawmakers can continue owning and selling stocks - so it won't solve the problem. Not gonna fly in the Senate. Members of Congress should not own, buy, or sell stocks.
Following years of demands that members of Congress limit their stock trading, the House passed a bill that would bar lawmakers, their spouses and dependent children from buying individual stocks but allow them to keep and sell stocks they already own.
A few giant corporations dominate the American seed industry. They abuse the patent system and drive up prices for farmers and for families buying dinner. I've got a bill to crack down on big agriculture and lower food costs across the country. Let's get it done.
Three Democratic senators are introducing legislation that would limit major agricultural seed companies' power by protecting farmers' rights to save, research, and replant seeds.
