Great to meet with Susan G. Komen Advocates from Philadelphia last week! While the Trump-Vance administration continues cutting health care funding, I’m committed to expanding access to breast cancer screenings and care, as well as supporting life-saving medical research. (1/2)
I’m proud to join over 250 of my House and Senate colleagues in the fight to protect access to this safe, effective health care!
Proud to help lead @housedemocrats.bsky.social, @energycommerce.bsky.social, @democrats-judiciary.house.gov, 212 House Dems & all 47 Senate Dems in an amicus brief to #SCOTUS urging them to reject the Fifth Circuit's decision & protect medication abortion access.
Happy AANHPI Month! Philly is lucky to be home to a vibrant #AANHPI community. This month and every month, let’s celebrate and uplift their diverse voices and countless contributions- because AANHPI stories ARE part of the story of our city, our commonwealth, and our nation!
Mifepristone is a safe & effective medication, & I'm relieved access to it has been restored for now. Access to critical health care should not shift with a single court ruling. That’s why I’m fighting alongside my @reprocaucus.bsky.social colleagues to protect access to reproductive care for ALL.
My Senior Citizens Resource and Wellness Fair is ONE WEEK away! Join us at Center in the Park from 10 AM to 1 PM next Friday, May 8 to get valuable information and resources from local, state-wide, and national organizations! For more information, call (215) 276-0340.
Hey #Philly! My annual Senior Citizens Resource and Wellness Fair is on Friday, May 8 from 10 AM to 1PM at Center in the Park. It's a great opportunity to get valuable information and resources from local, state-wide, and national organizations! For more information, call (215) 276-0340.
This #InternationalWorkersDay and every day, I support workers in the fight for better wages, benefits, and working conditions! That’s why I’m fighting alongside my @laborcaucus.house.gov colleagues to pass the PRO Act and protect workers’ right to organize and bargain collectively.
We stand on the shoulders of the workers who fought for our rights. Today, we celebrate the bravery of those who stood up to ensure dignity for every person on the job. #InternationalWorkersDay ✊
Americans are paying the price of Trump’s war of choice. 13 service members have been killed and hundreds more injured. Gas prices are skyrocketing and our economy is cratering. And all 11 of Pennsylvania’s GOP lawmakers have voted consistently to let the president continue unimpeded.
Gas UNDER $4 a gallon?! Not sure where in the world the House GOP majority leader is talking about — but here in Philadelphia, gas is at a four-year high and inflation is going up. Yet congressional Republicans still refuse to stop Trump's war OR his tariff-taxes.
SCALISE: We've delivered. Remember that 2 years ago, we were paying almost $6 a gallon. Right now it's in the $3s KERNEN: When were we paying $6? SCALISE: 2.5 years ago K: That's not right S: We are lowering inflation K: We're actually above where we were then. 2 years ago the average was $3.65
