The GOP’s so-called “SAVE America” Act is an attack on voting rights—there’s no way around it.
Rather than actually delivering for communities, Republicans continue to try to rig elections and push their agendas that harm working families.
These symptoms can be debilitating. Congress must step up and properly support research into long COVID.
I introduced a resolution to recognize March as Long COVID Awareness Month to raise awareness about the millions of people living with persisting symptoms after a COVID-19 infection.

My office has received reports of 11 people being detained at military installations in NC, many of whom had inadvertently entered these military-controlled areas.
Hegseth needs to answer about his department’s coordination with ICE and policies that govern the detention of civilian drivers.
"There is no reason why (...) the funding of two specific law enforcement agencies should jeopardize the salaries of federal workers who have nothing to do with the lives lost due to ICE."

Republicans need to stop playing political games. Democrats are ready to fund TSA without funding for ICE.
TSA workers should not have to go without pay and their salaries shouldn’t be dependent on Trump’s inhumane immigration enforcement.
While Republicans stall on meaningful regulations to protect Americans, I will continue to support commonsense legislation that puts people before corporations.
I’m proud to be an original cosponsor of the GUARDRAILS Act to repeal Trump’s Executive Order designed to prevent states from enacting AI policies that protect local communities.

“We’re not just talking about being able to move from point A to point B just for the purpose of that, but the connection for education, for jobs, all of that would be benefited by this rail line.”

After over a year of fighting, Trump is finally releasing the funds to advance the Raleigh to Richmond S-Line.
This rail line will expand critical transit corridors in our region—I'm glad that our community prevailed in this fight to ensure our district receives the funding it deserves.
It's unfathomable that Trump's response to rising energy costs, and repeatedly losing to @jeffjacksonnc.bsky.social in court, is bribing companies to hamper clean energy alternatives.
This Administration's attempts to pay a foreign company nearly $1 billion to stop offshore wind farm construction is a complete waste of taxpayer dollars.

Today marks 16 years since President Obama signed the landmark Affordable Care Act into law.
While the GOP continues to cut healthcare funding, I'll always fight to protect the ACA tax credits and pass Medicare for All to ensure affordable healthcare for every American.
Trump is so hell-bent on continuing ICE’s inhumane immigration enforcement that he wants to continue putting the paychecks of essential federal workers at risk.
Even Senate Republicans are ready to fund TSA. Let’s get it done.
The White House’s AI policy framework falls far short of what is required to protect everyday Americans.
Our communities want AI regulations and guardrails. Congress needs to act immediately.

Happy Nowruz to everyone celebrating! Wishing you a prosperous and joyous new year for you and your loved ones.
Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating in North Carolina's 4th District and beyond! May this joyful occasion bring happiness and good health to you and your loved ones.
Local governments depend on funding to deliver for residents of our state.
While the Republican NCGA won’t do their job, I’m exploring routes in Congress to ensure proper support for North Carolinians.
This week I met with the NC League of Municipalities to discuss how Congress can better support cities and townships in absence of a state budget.
