I’m relieved that my constituents and all U.S. citizens have been released from Israeli detention. But the State Department was less than helpful and going forward must take these incidents much more seriously. Secretary Rubio must push to end Israel’s blockade of humanitarian aid entering Gaza.
A laughably absurd argument, but consistent with their pattern of ignoring Congress.
They'll pull at any straw they can find to build Trump's stupid vanity projects.
Trump is handing out $1.8 billion in taxpayer dollars to domestic terrorists who tried to overthrow our democracy. His loyalty is with billionaires and anyone willing to commit crimes for him.
This is as corrupt as it gets.
(2/2) I’m calling on Secretary Rubio and the State Department to ensure their safety and fair treatment. The U.S. has an obligation to protect Americans abroad, and my team and I are working to safely get them home.
(1/2) Three of my constituents from the Spring 2026 Global Sumud Flotilla have reportedly been detained by the Israeli navy in international waters while attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza.
This weekend, Trump is trying to rededicate America as a "Christian Nation". How about we rededicate ourselves back to reality?
250 years ago, our founders created America to be free from religion. And my colleagues in the Freethought Caucus have the receipts.
Trump’s religious extremist event this weekend to “rededicate” our country as a Christian nation would have our founders rolling in their graves.
We. Are. NOT.
And using taxpayer resources and public lands for this kind of event is a gross misuse of power to destroy church-state separation.
I love visiting my alma mater, UCSB. It was great to chat with students, faculty, and locals about our efforts to push back on offshore drilling and fighting climate change. Thanks to everyone who came out to join us!
TODAY: Trump’s conservative Supreme Court dealt a massive blow to voting rights that could pave the way for Republicans to discriminate against minority voters. Every American deserves the right to vote and have their voice heard.
(3/4) We’re going to get every document, every email, every last receipt on this deal – and every person who had a hand in this is going to answer for it.
(2/4) The Republican-led Congress might not have a spine or shred of respect for the American people, but we sure as hell do, and we won’t let this happen without a fight. Rep. Raskin and I are opening an investigation into TotalEnergies’ backdoor deal with the Trump admin to kill offshore wind.
(1/4) If TotalEnergies thinks they can get away with taking a billion dollars from American taxpayers, they’re in for a rude awakening. The administration is flat-out lying to the public and trying to stop anyone who stands in their way.
The Trump admin is plotting a massive water grab in Northern CA.
My message to them and anyone else involved is: you need to come clean.
And if that’s a problem, it’s going to be a bigger problem at this time next year.
257,937 Californians lost food assistance because of Trump's One Big, Ugly Bill.
That means thousands of kids, seniors, and veterans can't afford to put food on the table because Republicans. As if that wasn’t bad enough, now they’re doubling down and making it permanent with their Farm Bill.
Trump has touted his corrupt White House ballroom renovation almost every day this year. The guy is obsessed.
While Americans struggle to pay their bills because of Republicans' insane policies, this administration is wasting its platform on the most out-of-touch priorities imaginable.
We’re still in the middle of Trump’s pointless war in Iran. Prices are soaring, people are dying, and Republicans are doing nothing to rein in their wannabe dictator.
I just introduced another War Powers Resolution because I will not give up until this conflict ends and Trump is held accountable.
🚨Breaking news from CA: Trump and his team are plotting a massive water grab. I’m not going to let them get away with this.
Trump and his Republicans cronies are rolling back the rules that keep our air breathable and our water safe, all so billionaire polluters can get another tax break.
This Earth Day and every other day, we’re standing up for a world that’s worth protecting.

Happy Earth Day!
Trump and Republicans spent the last year selling off your public lands, your clean air, and your clean water to billionaires and Big Oil.
And every one of those decisions ended with higher costs for you.
We're fighting back because you deserve better.
