Beautiful afternoon to join families, neighbors, and local leaders at the Annual Norwood Day Festival. Plenty of fun activities for children, great food from vendors and local restaurants and helpful outreach from Local non-profits and various Norwood High School Sports teams and Cheer Squad.
President Trump better think long and hard before sending any troops into our city.
Sending troops into any civilian population is just wrong.
Speaker Johnson is trying to stop efforts to force the release of all the documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
I am proud to stand with my Democratic colleagues in support of these brave women.
Last night, I signed the discharge petition led by Rep. Thomas Massie and @khanna.house.gov to force a House vote on legislation to release the Epstein files.
The survivors and the American public deserve the truth.
Today, we heard powerful testimony from survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
I will continue to fight with my colleagues to ensure that these women receive justice and those involved are held accountable.
Wishing a safe and relaxing Labor Day to all of America’s workforce.
May we redouble our efforts to reward and respect the dignity of work and restore the American dream! 🇺🇸
There are 138,053 #SocialSecurity recipients in the Eighth Congressional District of Massachusetts!
Today marks the 90th Anniversary of FDR signing Social Security into law, which provides tens of millions of working Americans an earned, guaranteed safety net every year.
Our community is truly fortunate to have such a dedicated team working tirelessly to keep all of South Boston safe and healthy.
It was a pleasure to celebrate this milestone alongside CEO Bill Halpin and the SBCHC team as well as State Senator Nick Collins, State Rep. David Biele, City Councilors Ed Flynn and Erin Murphy and Andrew Colameta of Sterling Construction.
Proud that we were able to secure $2 million in Federal Community Project funding to support this major investment in community health. This expansion will allow SBCHC to continue delivering compassionate, high-quality care to even more children, seniors and families.
It was an honor to join the South Boston Community Health Center during National Community Health Center week to break ground on their 11,000 sq foot expansion project.
The United Nations, former USAID officials, and humanitarian relief representatives have all raised strong objections over the continued operation of the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.”
I joined nearly 100 of my Democratic colleagues in demanding transparency and accountability from the Trump Administration on its decision to award a $30 million contract for food distribution in Gaza to a private organization with no prior humanitarian aid experience.
With the United Nations reporting that a worst-case famine scenario has already developed in Gaza, we must make every effort to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid to the more than two million people who are facing critical levels of hunger.
Congratulations to the Town of Hingham on this exciting new chapter, and thank you to the men and women who keep our community safe every day.
Town Administrator Tom Mayo, Select Board Chair Bill Ramsey, Members Julie Strehle and Liz Klein, Bob Garrity and the Public Safety Building Committee, Police Chief David Jones, and Fire Chief Steven Murphy, our first responders, and the residents who worked to bring this project to life.
This state-of-the-art building was supported with local, state and federal funding and will serve as the new home for the Hingham Police and Fire Departments, enhancing public safety not only for Hingham, but for the entire South Shore. I am proud to celebrate this milestone alongside
It was a beautiful morning to join Senator Patrick O'Connor and Rep. Joan Meschino at today's ribbon cutting for the Town of Hingham's new Public Safety Facility.
Special shoutout to all the Braintree American Little League players and coaches as they continue to compete in the New England Regionals in Bristol, Connecticut!
It was great watching you represent our state on ESPN today!
On to Williamsport!🇺🇸
For 60 years, Medicare and Medicaid have been a lifeline for seniors, families, veterans, and people with disabilities.
I will continue to fight alongside my fellow Democratic colleagues to protect Medicare and Medicaid.
