Last week, 15 new prescription drugs were selected for Medicare price negotiations, thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act that I helped pass. What does that mean for you? Lower prescription drug costs and more money in your pocket.
Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a visionary who challenged us to build a nation where justice, equality, and dignity are a reality for all. His dream lives on in our collective efforts to create a more just society.
Whether I’m in Washington or back home, #TeamLee is always out and about in southern Nevada supporting our community. Here are just a few photos of ceremonies and grand openings they attended this week!
Greystar operates 44 apartment complexes in southern Nevada – they cannot be allowed to deceive people just to make an extra dollar. I applaud the FTC for cracking down on massive corporations that take advantage of working families.
BREAKING: The FTC is taking action against Greystar, the biggest apartment landlord in the country. The regulators claim that the company deceives renters about costs, piles mandatory fees on top of the rents they advertise, and makes hundreds of millions from these hidden fees.
Not only is Nevada home to amazing natural landscapes, but it’s also one of the most biodiverse places in the country.    Today, I announced more than $23 million for Fish & Wildlife conservation to support that biodiversity, and I’ll keep investing in local conservation efforts.
Nowhere else in the world do you get the amenities of a big city so close to beautiful public lands.   With the passage of my bipartisan bills, we’re expanding access to hiking, biking, and climbing opportunities for everyone in southern Nevada and beyond. news3lv.com/news/local/c...
Great to chat with Sierra Vista HS students at CES about STEM education & career opportunities.   Part of why I came to Congress after leading education nonprofits is that I saw firsthand how Washington wasn’t doing enough for Nevada students. These kids are the future!
Looking to save money and water? You can get paid to convert your grass yard into a natural landscape, thanks in part to $60 million I helped bring back for southern Nevada through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Learn more 👇 www.ktnv.com/news/heres-h...

Happy #KoreanAmericanDay! Today marks the anniversary of the arrival of the first Korean immigrants to the US in 1903. 122 years later, Korean Americans have made communities like southern Nevada a better, stronger, and more vibrant place to live.
Yesterday, I celebrated Tower Training Academy becoming the first U.S. Department of Labor-authorized active battery storage systems apprenticeship in the U.S. Nevada is leading the charge in building our clean energy economy and supporting thousands of jobs created by the Inflation Reduction Act.
Here’s the deal: we live in a desert. And natural yards protect our natural landscapes while saving money for you & water for everyone. I joined BOR Commissioner Touton in unveiling $60 million to help pay southern Nevadans to convert their grass lawns without squeezing their budget.
Education = opportunity. As a lifelong education advocate, I’ve seen the impact of that opportunity firsthand — and the devastating effects when kids lose it. I’ll keep fighting to put resources in the classroom and make sure every student can stay in school and achieve their fullest potential.
This past weekend, the bipartisan #SocialSecurityFairnessAct was finally signed into law after I voted to pass it out of the House. Retired public servants like teachers, firefighters, and police officers in Nevada will now receive every penny they contributed to their retirement.
Hey there Bluesky 👋 nice to meet you. I’m Susie. I’m a mom of two, a lifelong education advocate, and a bipartisan leader fighting to make Washington work for YOU on the common sense issues we can all get behind. Follow along for updates on how I'm getting results for southern Nevada 🏜️
