President Trump and Republicans refuse to extend the ACA tax credits that help millions of Americans afford health care saying they cost too much. Now, Trump wants $200 Billion more for his war of choice in Iran. Democrats are fighting for health care, not warfare.
I'm grateful to @ag.state.mn.us for working to hold the Trump administration accountable for illegal conduct by federal agents. Full, transparent, and independent investigations are needed into the deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. This lawsuit is critical to ensuring that happens.
Now we’re paying $1.00 more per gallon of gas since the war began, with costs rising for everything else. Trump says we don’t have money to help Americans afford their lives, but he has billions to spend on wars.
President Trump and Congressional Republicans are leading Americans into bleak economic times of higher health care costs, dogged inflation, and gas prices driven up by the Iran War. Only 28% of Americans have confidence in the job market.
Health care should be a right, not a privilege. As we celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Affordable Care Act today, know that I'll keep working to make sure you and your family can afford the health care you need.
President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law sixteen years ago today, guaranteeing coverage for Americans with pre-existing conditions and helping millions of Americans afford health care. I'm proud to have voted for the ACA, and I'll keep working to strengthen it.
Minnesota (especially Afton!) is proud of Jessie Diggins as she retires as the most decorated cross-country skier in U.S. history. Her legacy isn't just defined by her many medals — but by the way she inspires others and advocates for climate action and mental health.
Senate Republicans were ready to join Democrats to pay TSA agents and DHS employees without funding illegal activities by ICE and CBP. Trump said NO. Instead, he deployed undertrained ICE agents to U.S. airports. It's time pass Democrats' bill to pay TSA agents, FEMA, Coast Guard, and others.
The Gophers keep on dancing! What an incredible game-winning shot last night by Amaya Battle — Congratulations to the University of Minnesota Women's basketball team on an impressive victory to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
I’m heartbroken by the loss of four of our neighbors in White Bear Lake who were killed in a house fire this morning. I thank the White Bear Lake Fire Department for their efforts to rescue those inside. I offer my condolences to the family, friends, and neighbors who are mourning this tragedy.
