I said what I said.
Last year, 32 people died in ICE custody — the most in decades.
It is unconscionable.
House Republican’s reckless funding bill must be rejected.
For-profit prison companies are making record profits — HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS from taxpayer dollars — through the “Detention Industrial Complex” that ICE & the Trump administration has created.
Tomorrow, the House Rules Committee will consider Republican’s DHS & ICE funding bill.
I’ll be voting NO.

As we work to protect the people of Colorado on multiple fronts, it bears repeating that the Uinta Basin Railway Project will threaten our state’s water supply, wildlife & more.
That’s why @bennet.senate.gov and I are leading an effort opposing it.

BIG NEWS — House Republicans this week passed their top priority for the New Year . . . .
A bill eliminating shower-head regulations — that no longer even exist!

$82 trillion in financial assets are under management by investment firms in the U.S. — and only 1.4% are managed by women or minority owned firms.
House Republicans’ top legislative priority this week is a bill to apparently lower that number to zero.

As House Republicans cut taxes for billionaires, they refuse to increase the Federal minimum wage — which hasn’t been raised for 17 YEARS.

Which is why we’ve gone back to court to challenge it — immediately.
