There is still far more to be done to rein in the Department of Homeland Security and the dangerous policies advanced by President Trump. Congress must take decisive action to reform ICE, and that requires meaningful legislation—not simply replacing the DHS Secretary.
After the horrific deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Good under her watch, the unjust jailing of countless American citizens, and the inhumane conditions inside detention facilities, it is long past time for Noem to be removed from her post.
Kristi Noem has unleashed months of chaos across the United States, deploying rogue ICE agents to terrorize our communities, withholding emergency funds for communities, and using her position for personal gain.

The American people deserve to know the plan & justification before rushing into war. That’s why the Constitution gives Congress the authority to declare war – not a singular person. @adamsmith.house.gov & I discussed the importance of voting for today’s War Powers Resolution.
Trump is basically a bull who just walked into the world's largest, most densely populated China shop. Everywhere he turns, something breaks. Last night, I joined Anderson Cooper on @cnn.com to discuss Iran.
When Trump was running for president, he said we would not go to war with Iran. What changed? The American people deserve an explanation. I spoke to @newsnation.bsky.social last night about the military's involvement in Iran.
Not only is Trump not dealing with the affordability crisis, but what he's doing in Iran is going to drive prices up even further and hurt Americans. I joined @ms.now last night to discuss the actions in Iran.
There's a lot more that the Republican-led Congress could do to have some accountability for the use of our military in this war.   I spoke with Live Now Fox on Sunday to discuss military actions in Iran.

Sharing new interview with @adamsmith.house.gov, Ranking Member of House Armed Services, fresh from this pm's classified Congressional briefing w/Hegseth, Rubio, & Caine. Hear what Rep. Smith has to say about Trump's dangerous new war in the Middle East 👇 www.hopiumchronicles.com/p/rep-adam-s...
This is a war.   This is a direct attack on a foreign nation.    This should legally require congressional approval.    This morning, I joined CNN to discuss the war in Iran.
