Happy International Worker’s Day! As the proud son of a union worker, I’ve spent my whole life working for improved workplace benefits, fair pay, and safe labor practices, and will continue to do so until we have equal pay.
I’ve introduced legislation to provide enhanced career training and wraparound services and support the statewide task force to help high school students create strong alternative paths for their future.
If we are going to be this big, powerful force that throws our weight around the world, the world wants to know, at a minimum, that we're doing it for the right reasons and with a sense of values to protect people, not to destroy entire civilizations.
