I am deeply troubled with the implications of the Supreme Court's ruling today that rejects CO's ban on conversion therapy for minors. There is clear evidence of the long-term harm caused to children who are subject to these intense practices, and jeopardizes LGBTQ+ protections across our country.
Let's break down President Trump's goals with Iran.
Trump only has one move. What’s next?
Building more homes shouldn’t be so complicated. I've introduced the PHAZE Act to improve zoning and permitting restrictions in the housing space.
ICE already has $190 billion. I do not intend to give them another cent after they violated the rights of the American people.
From the very beginning, Democrats had a proposal to pay TSA, Coast Guard, and FEMA, yet Republicans refused to bring it to a vote.
Republicans chose not to fund TSA.
Let’s work together to make government work better.

House Armed Services Committee Ranking Member @adamsmith.house.gov Breaks Down the Iran War: Rapid Escalation, High Costs & Lack of Endgame with Preston Stewart youtu.be/UWJNIYa5Low?...
Demand accountability. Govern better. Deliver for people. Show the American people we have a strong alternative to the narcissistic insanity of the Trump Regime. Read Danny Westneat’s column today in the Seattle Times for more on this topic.

Ranking Member @adamsmith.house.gov led a letter signed by all House Armed Services Committee Democrats and sent to Chairman Mike Rogers today asking that a public hearing be immediately convened and the Department of Defense be brought in to testify on President Trump's war against Iran. ⬇️
Democrats have had a solution to end the nightmare at our airports for over a month. We must fund TSA, Coast Guard, and FEMA.
Trump’s priorities are clear – he wants to give his billionaire friends a tax break and add to the national debt. Working families are going to pay the price to the $39 trillion national debt, which has only climbed because of the President’s war of choice with Iran.
Winning entries from each congressional district are hung in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol for one year, and the winning student artists (plus a guest) will be flown to Washington, D.C. to be recognized at an award ceremony.

Let’s improve programs, increase transparency, and help the 500 or so unhoused families in King County.
To address the problem of homelessness, we need to understand who is suffering in our community. Families are often overlooked when assessing King County’s homeless population, and unless they are considered into the count, we can’t prepare shelters to care for them.

MacFarlane: I’ve got to tell you what the ranking member on the House Armed Services Committee told me when I asked him about Iran and how much information key members of Congress are getting.
Adam Smith, in a measured tone without raising his voice, said about Iran: it’s a bad fucking idea.
