Ron Williams is a lifelong servant-leader who has built deep roots in Mesa.
After joining the Air Force and serving his country, he went on to support AZ’s small business community as an entrepreneur and major community leader in Mesa.
Mesa is stronger because of you both.

Marcie Hutchinson is a longtime educator and advocate for public schools.
She spent 28 years teaching social studies in Mesa Public Schools, earned a Teacher of the Year award, and has continued supporting students through her service on the Mesa Public Schools Governing Board.
Mesa’s Citizens of the Year are a reminder that real leadership means showing up for your neighbors.
Congrats to Marcie Hutchinson and Ron Williams on this well-deserved recognition.

I’m leading an effort with @repyassansari.bsky.social and Rep. Grijalva to demand DHS explain their plans and answer residents' questions.
ICE just secretly bought a mega warehouse in Surprise, AZ to turn into a detention center, and they shut out local leaders from having a say.
That’s wrong — our community deserves better.

Grocery prices are soaring across the country.
I have a bill to cancel Trump’s illegal tariffs that are driving up the cost of everything from coffee beans to bananas.
Speaker Johnson should bring it to a vote.
The scale of yesterday’s attack is horrifying — over 30 killed and 150 injured in a suicide bombing near Islamabad.
I’m praying for all the victims and for lasting peace across Pakistan.

After reports of a measles outbreak at ICE’s detention center in Florence, AZ, I led Senator Mark Kelly, @repyassansari.bsky.social, and Rep. Grijalva to demand answers about how it happened, the medical care provided to detainees, and what's being done to contain it.
Trump sold his tariffs as “pro-manufacturing.” On top of being illegal, one year in their results tell a different story:
🏭 Fewer factory jobs
💰 Higher costs
📉 Plummeting investments in American manufacturing
Police officers bravely put themselves in harm’s way to keep their neighbors safe.
This week I met with the Arizona Fraternal Order of Police to discuss how Congress can ensure first responders have the support they need to keep our communities safe.
I’m following reports that at least one Arizona DPS trooper was shot and two more were injured near Phoenix tonight.
I’m grateful for the first responders on scene, and I’m keeping the troopers and their families in my prayers.
Thank you to the leaders on my Labor Advisory Council for an important discussion on how we can build a stronger American economy.
For forty years, America has refused to let China dictate the terms of our economic and security partnerships with Taiwan.
That shouldn't change now.
Trump needs to stop threatening our elections.
➡️ FBI raided a Georgia election center & took ballots
➡️ Trump called for Republicans to "take over" elections in 15 states
➡️ Yesterday, he said some states can't be trusted to count votes.
This is a five-alarm fire for democracy. Congress must act.
Arizonans don’t want a makeshift jail down the street from their child’s high school, and they don’t want masked agents in their church parking lot.
This won’t make Arizona safer.
Secretary Noem is consolidating power at FEMA at the expense of survivors & those preparing for the next storm. Her incompetence has held up over $17 billion in aid, leading to preventable deaths.
The longer she's at DHS, the more lives are at stake. She has to go.
Heartbreaking news out of northern Arizona this morning, and a grim reminder of the dangers law enforcement face.
Praying for these officers' loved ones and the entire Arizona Public Safety Department.

I’ll keep working to make care more affordable & accessible, & I’ll keep fighting to fund research that brings us closer to a cure.
On World Cancer Day, we honor the survivors, caregivers, medical professionals, & researchers on the front lines of the fight against cancer. And we remember the loved ones lost far too soon.
