This bill expands clean energy access through tax credits and new infrastructure, making it more accessible for everyone. When our students are paying attention and taking action, we have a responsibility to deliver. Let's get this done.
Napa Schools for Climate Action has officially endorsed my American Affordability Act. These young leaders understand what's at stake. Clean energy isn't just about the environment. It's about building a more affordable, sustainable future for every family in our community.
While their loved ones gave everything in service to our country, Gold Star Spouses continue to hold their families together, often raising children and rebuilding their lives in the wake of grief. On this day and every day, we owe them our deepest gratitude and our unwavering support.
Today we honor Gold Star Spouses — the partners who carry the weight of an unimaginable loss with strength and dignity. Their sacrifice is immeasurable.
That's why I introduced the American Affordability Act to bring down your energy costs and am working to reinstate the green energy tax credits that keep your bills low. American families deserve relief, not higher bills.
Congressional Republicans' Big Ugly Bill will raise your electricity bill by 61 percent over the next decade and gut the clean energy credits that were saving families money.
Wishing everyone a happy and blessed Easter!
Grateful the missing crew member from the fighter jet shot down over Iran has been safely rescued. Thank you to the brave servicemembers who carried out this high-risk mission and brought this airman home. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/04...
We need to make life more affordable for Americans, not get into forever wars.
We can’t take care of Americans because Trump’s fighting an illegal war. The war this president started with shifting justifications and no end date in sight. The war that’s taken the lives of 13 American service members and cost us a billion taxpayer dollars a day.
The Supreme Court ruled tariffs were illegal. It’s time to make it right.
Families in our community paid over $1,900 more last year because of Trump's unlawful tariffs. That money should come back to YOU — not corporations. That's why I introduced legislation that would return money from unlawful tariffs directly to American households.
This administration wants to cut the safety net out from under Americans to fund a war with no end in sight. We need to end this war and bring costs down.
Trump wants $1.5 trillion for the Pentagon while eliminating the programs that help you pay your heating bill, fund your child's education, and keep your family healthy. This isn't a budget. It's a betrayal of the American people.
This investment will strengthen flood protection, restore nearly a mile of the Napa River Trail, and build a more resilient and prosperous community for years to come.
The Napa River Flood Control Project is a major step forward for Napa families, homes, and businesses — and I'm proud to have helped secure three hundred million dollars in federal funding to make it happen.
The new bridge, funded almost entirely by federal dollars, improves safety, strengthens emergency access, and keeps this historic route open for generations to come. Great work by Napa County, Caltrans, and all the partners who made it happen. Proud to support this project.
Congratulations to Napa County on completing the new Dry Creek Road Bridge! The old bridge was nearly 100 years old, too narrow for two vehicles, and vulnerable to earthquakes and floods.
