Happy Pride Month, Ohio! 🌈 I am proud to be an ally and friend to the LGBTQ+ community in Ohio and across the country. This month, we remember that love is always love — no matter what.
Trump tried to rewrite history by stamping his name on the Kennedy Center. But we wouldn't let him. American institutions are always worth fighting for, because they belong to the people. So I went to court and WON. Let this be a lesson for Trump and his cronies: democracy always wins.
Let’s get one thing straight: artists, donors, and others left the Kennedy Center because of the Trump takeover. Now, it’s time to return it to the American people and Congress so it can flourish once again.
The Federal Court made it clear: the Kennedy Center belongs to the PEOPLE — not Donald Trump. It’s a monumental win for democracy and the rule of law. The fight for our democracy continues — and it’s always worth the climb.
As a stroke survivor, this fight is personal. Proud to introduce a resolution recognizing American Stroke Month and raising awareness about prevention, early detection, and lifesaving care. Thank you to Rep. Steve Cohen for partnering with me on this effort.
South Carolina rejected racist gerrymandering. It’s clear leaders like my friend Jim Clyburn represent exactly the kind of Black leadership this country needs. Now, we must continue the fight to protect Black representation nationwide.
Need help with a federal agency or benefits? Team Beatty is coming to you! Join us for Mobile Office Hours THIS Thursday, May 28, from 1PM to 3PM, at Westerville Public Library 126 S State St, Westerville, OH 43081. 📞We're here to help — no appointment needed!
This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. Our hearts are with the families who carry their legacy forward.
Across the country, Democrats are delivering major election wins at every level. Republicans are afraid - and they should be. It's clear as day: Democrats WILL take back the country in 2026, and deliver a better future for American families.
American families are losing their hard-earned savings to fraud and scams. Today, in the Financial Services Committee, we talked about the importance of our anti-money laundering framework to crack down on financial crime and protect consumers.
I joined the “In Sisterhood and Strength: Women Leading Forward” event hosted by the Black Women’s Leadership Collective to celebrate the legacy of Black women in the CBC. Progress is only made through relentless effort, and Black women will continue to remain at the forefront of that progress.
Barney Frank's legacy will live on through the Americans whose financial security was strengthened because of his work as Chair on the Financial Services Committee & the Dodd-Frank Act, which reshaped financial oversight after the 2008 financial crisis.🔗My full statement here: https://bit.ly/4nJWCsD
🎉Today, my bipartisan bill H.R. 3234 passed unanimously on the House floor! It’s a critical step forward to strengthen small banks and provide resources for small businesses, affordable housing, and the needs of American communities. Next stop, the Senate!
Black college athletes give everything to their sport — on and off the field. Today, I joined Leader Jeffries, the Congressional Black Caucus, and NAACP President Derrick Johnson to call out the hypocrisy and fight for voting rights.
