Nanette Díaz Barragán is an American politician and attorney serving as the U.S. representative for California's 44th congressional district since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served as an Hermosa Beach city councilmember from 2013 to 2015.

Like Jon from Florida says, Americans are only one accident away from not being able to afford groceries or other daily expenses. Health care is essential. Republicans’ refusal to extend the tax credits that help lower the costs of health insurance will mean more people choose to go without it.
Came together with our neighbors in #Carson for our End-of-Year Legislative Briefing! Great to see old faces and new at the Carson Community Center, where we shared a delicious meal & talked about the good work being done here in #CA44 and how we continue to fight for our communities in Washington.
Under RFK’s leadership, the Trump Administration continues to put our youngest Americans in danger. The U.S. started recommending that newborns receive the hepatitis B vaccine in the 1990s. Since then, there has been a 99% reduction in infant hepatitis B infections.
Hegseth has a record of endangering our troops and violating laws — he shared sensitive military plans on Signal and ordered strikes that killed nearly a hundred people on boats in both the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific. I’ve said it before and will say it again— Hegseth has GOT TO GO.
Terri should not have had to bring her children to a McDonald’s parking lot everyday so her daughter can access the internet for her schoolwork. High-speed internet is a basic necessity, but high costs put internet access out of reach for too many working families like Terri’s.
Thank you Donald Trump and Republicans for making life MORE expensive in 2025. This Thanksgiving, Americans remembered who was responsible for devastating cuts to health care and skyrocketing costs of living. Americans had to pay 10% more to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families this year.
I am inspired everyday by the strength of our communities as they push forward together to uplift each other through good times and bad. This #Thanksgiving, I am grateful to be able to serve you in Congress and work to bring positive change to our country and communities. Happy Thanksgiving!
