The American people do not want another costly and endless war.
I was honored to take part in the City of Cleveland’s Hidden Figures Luncheon celebrating Black excellence in NE Ohio and individuals who are making a difference. It was inspiring to be in the presence of so many leaders and so much pride, joy, and persistence.
The Trump Admin is continuing their reckless rush to sell the Celebrezze Building. This is wrong for Cleveland, and I’ve sought basic facts about this – with no real answers.
I’m calling on the Government Accountability Office to investigate their broken process.

Trump in his State of the Union: “prices are plummeting downward”
I guess he hasn’t been to a grocery store anytime recently.

I was honored to welcome fmr VP Kamala Harris to Cleveland and to MidTown Market, where we thanked the Hunger Network team for providing food for people in need.
I’m so grateful for real leaders – known and unknown – that are more focused on those in need than those at the top.
So many people are struggling right now, and SNAP cuts will only make things worse. Kamala is a real leader and she really cares – and it was an honor to welcome her to our city.
Today, I joined former Vice President Kamala Harris at the Hunger Network’s Midtown Market food pantry to thank their staff, learn about their services, and hear more about the needs of the community.
Release ALL of the files.
Restrict formaldehyde. Fund the research. Stop profiting from our pain. @pressley.house.gov @velazquez.house.gov @repyvetteclarke.bsky.social
For too long, hair products with cancer causing chemicals have been marketed to Black and Brown women. If the FDA won’t act, we will. @pressley.house.gov @velazquez.house.gov @repyvetteclarke.bsky.social
Today, my colleagues & I introduced The Healthy Hair Act - legislation to get hair products with formaldehyde off the shelves.

It IS awful.

“It breaks my heart.”
Instead of sitting through Trump’s disrespectful and dishonest speech, I prioritized listening to constituents last night. Christina spoke about her experience as a Latina in the Trump era, being worried about her father, and the fears children have.

Disappointed, but not surprised. That’s exactly why I chose not to attend.
Trump lied again tonight. Prices are up - and he's making things worse.
Trump is so out of touch, insisting affordability isn’t an issue. Not surprising from a guy who lives at a resort.
Trump just bragged about kicking millions of Americans off SNAP and food assistance programs…
Ripping the rug from underneath families who are already struggling is not an accomplishment. It's a failure.
And this President is failing the American people.
Americans are struggling to get by, and what is Trump's plan to rectify the damage he's caused?
Help massive corporations get richer at working families' expense. Unbelievable.
By the way... these big corporations are already paying the lowest rate they've paid in generations.
Four years ago Russia launched an illegal and immoral invasion of Ukraine, a tyrannical act of aggression. I am proud to stand with Ukraine and to support the thousands of Ukrainians in NE Ohio. The US must continue to support the people of Ukraine in their fight against Putin.
I'm fed up with Trump’s lies, hate-filled rhetoric, and the divisive language. We should be listening to Americans about their struggles- not gaslighting them.
Tonight, I’m joining the State of the People broadcast to talk about what’s really going on.
