Too many Americans are being denied their right to reproductive care, and this week on the hill, Republicans want to roll back those rights with even more anti-choice legislation.
So today, I'm joining @reprocaucus.bsky.social & @demwomencaucus.bsky.social in the fight to defend our rights.
Just voted No on funding ICE and CBP.
I will not support another cent for agencies that continue to terrorize our communities, commit abuses, and escalate violence.
To mark the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Republicans have doubled down on their anti-choice agenda, pushing bills that keep women in the dark about their rights & limit access to reproductive care.
I voted no and will continue to fight to restore abortion rights nationwide.
Almost every effort from Trump's White House has been a slap in the face to Americans, our rights, and our democracy.
They don't care about putting the American people first; they never did.
Trump and Republicans made sure to pass tax cuts for the rich, then they let ACA tax credits expire. Priorities.
The result - massive cost increases.
And now hundreds of thousands of Ohioans have lost health care.
www.cleveland.com/news/2026/01...
Trump said he would lower costs. He lied.
Trump and Bondi have not released 99% of the Epstein Files. This is not compliance, nor is it transparency. It's a coverup.
So...
Trump's officials are running simulations to see how close they can get to starving people??
$15.64 is barely enough to get by on one meal, let alone 3. That's not making America healthy, that's making Americans malnourished.
Trump has shown NO accountability for the violence CAUSED by ICE.
Instead, he’s going after Democrats who have tried to keep the peace.
This is authoritarianism.
A year ago, Trump said he would lower costs.
He LIED.
Under Trump, Ohioans are paying $1,532 more in higher costs. That's $365 more for housing, $67 more for transportation costs, and the list goes on and on.
Ohioans can't afford Trump's agenda.
Let today’s celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy serve as a reminder that the fight for justice and equality for all Americans isn’t finished.
It is our responsibility to defend the rights he secured and carry his legacy forward.
Gutting special education programs and the Department of Education doesn’t make America great.
In Ohio 1 in 5 children would suffer- losing critical services they need to learn. That’s not strength. That’s failing America’s children.
Trump has no plan to lower costs. But you know what he is focused on?
Using your taxpayer dollars on building ballrooms, renaming buildings, and now running another country...
He couldn't care less about solving the affordability crisis.
Trump's tariffs caused a trade war, drove up prices, & burned bridges for our farmers.
So yesterday, I joined @repangiecraig.bsky.social to introduce the Farm & Family Relief Act.
This plan will provide SNAP relief & give aid to Americans- something this White House has failed to do.
The slush fund for ICE included in the Big Ugly Law: $75 billion.
The cost of a 3-year ACA extension: $80 billion.
We should repeal the funding paying for ICE abuses and use those funds to lower health care costs.
Happy Birthday Dr. King!
Dr. King's legacy is not just something to celebrate, it’s something to defend.
As this White House demonizes diversity & erases Black history, we must speak out and stand up.
Today, I introduced a resolution to honor Dr. King and his fight for equality.
1/2
Kristi Noem failed the American people.
She's ignored the law, violated her oath, and let ICE agents violently disrupt our communities.
This chaos cannot continue. That's why I've joined @robinkelly.house.gov in filing articles of impeachment to remove her from office for good.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s fight for equality is under threat by either challenge or flat-out erasure from this White House.
So I introduced a resolution to honor his life and to serve as a reminder that diversity is our strength, not a weakness.
Happy Birthday Dr. King!
