Trump’s actions in Venezuela are lawless and reckless. We should all be worried. My full statement:
The American people have learned that we are now “running” another country. A decision made without a vote, without a debate in Congress, without a plan. Done by a President who *told* us he would be a dictator.
If you can’t see the stakes, then you aren’t paying attention.
This President is out of control.
He had no authority to invade Venezuela, offered no explanation for why this was necessary, and has given no strategy for what comes next.
Republicans must join us in stopping this President from dragging us into another reckless conflict.
Trump is breaking Social Security.
It's another betrayal of working people from a man who only cares about himself.

May the new year bring us a renewed sense of purpose and gratitude, so that we may take on the challenges to come with courage and determination. Happy New Year!
In 2025 Trump gave himself a tax break, slapped his name on buildings, and raised the cost of health care - with ACA tax credits expiring tonight.
Because of GOP cuts, 38,000 people in NE Ohio will see their premiums skyrocket.
It's wrong and I won't stop fighting to protect health care.
In 2025, my office returned over $12 million dollars to constituents, including helping Pearletha from Euclid with Social Security benefits. My office is delivering for NE Ohio – if you need help with Social Security, the IRS, or the VA, give us a call.
Far from Trump’s ballroom blueprints, Great Gatsby Mar-a-Lago parties, and cocktail soirees, real people are suffering because of his twisted agenda.
Cuts to health care, Head Start, and food aid – while Trump yells at the teleprompter that things are great.

Happy Kwanzaa to all those who celebrate! This holiday is a great reminder to prioritize collective care for ourselves and for our community.
For unto us a child is born...
Merry Christmas, Northeast Ohio! I hope that you have a Christmas full of joy with family and loved ones.
From my family to yours, Happy Holidays Northeast Ohio!
The price on the shelf needs to be the price at the register. Period.
Unfortunately, that’s not happening at Dollar General and Family Dollar – where customers are being overcharged on a massive scale.
I'm demanding answers on when this will stop.

It’s a disgusting race to the bottom. And the intent is clear – to mock, demonize, and delegitimize Black people, immigrants, and anyone who isn’t part of their backwards idea of America.
Don’t they ever get tired of being this hateful?
I guess we know the answer to that question.
Trump singled out Somalis again in his rambling speech from the White House last week and this weekend Vance called Minneapolis “Mogadishu” and said Jasmine Crockett had a fake “street girl” persona.
It’s appalling to me that Trump and Vance cannot stop with the hateful and openly racist comments, even during the holiday season, a time of peace and joy. And all too often it’s Black people who are the subject of their slurs, slanders, and “jokes.”
Trump's Epstein Files Coverup is an affront to justice and an insult to survivors.
Delays... redactions... deletions. They're trying everything.
Trump's priority is protecting himself and his powerful buddies.

Black unemployment has skyrocketed under Trump. It's now at 8.3%. The highest since the pandemic.
But guess who the Trump-appointed chair of the govt’s anti-discrimination agency is worried about? White men.
They aren’t hiding it.

Trump is striking vessels & talking about blockades and a ground war in Venezuela.
These are acts of war, & the Constitution is clear: only Congress has the power to declare war.
That’s why I just voted for 2 War Powers resolutions to rein this in before Trump drags us into another endless war.
