Trump’s horrendous plan to give $1.8 billion to Jan 6 Rioters and his political allies must be stopped. He’s just throwing the corruption in our face at this point.
That’s why I joined @mikethompson.house.gov’s bill to block this fund - there can be no money for Trump’s criminal cronies.
Another cruel and chaotic move by the Trump Administration.
This is anti-family, anti-immigrant and anti-American.

We’ve been getting closer and closer to voting to end the war with Iran in the House.
Last week it was 212-212.
Just now, we had the votes to win – until Republicans cancelled the vote.
Why? They were going to lose.
They can’t delay forever – the House *will* vote to end Trump’s war.
Republicans are back with another horrible budget – they want to give ICE even more money and pay for Trump’s billion-dollar ballroom.
I stood with Congressional Democrats to call this out.
We will fight this hard – people want lower costs, not ICE cruelty and Trump nonsense.
The day before Trump’s disastrous war with Iran the average cost of gas in Ohio was $2.80 per gallon. Today it’s $4.76.
And the Strait of Hormuz is still closed.
Trump is busy playing golf, trading stocks, and dreaming about his ballroom. He doesn’t care that you’re paying more.
Today, I filed legislation to end Trump's war of choice in Iran.
My bill is part of our effort in the Congressional Progressive Caucus to keep the pressure on, keep forcing votes, and hold Trump and the GOP accountable.
Trump has made it absolutely clear he only cares about himself. His entire presidency has been about making his family rich.
Americans have paid $180 MORE on average for gas since Trump's war in Iran began. Trump is a selfish and greedy man who does not care.

Today, I introduced legislation to end Trump's costly, illegal, and disastrous war of choice in Iran.
Working with my @usprogressives.bsky.social colleagues, we are closer than ever before to reining in this president. Read how here: www.cleveland.com/news/2026/05...
The deals for his family... the insider trading... now this.
It's all blatant corruption from a selfish and greedy man.
This is exactly why we need a ban on the White House and Congress trading stocks.

Not only did Trump's DOJ create a $1.8 billion slush fund from YOUR tax dollars for Jan. 6 rioters. But now, U.S. AG, Todd Blanche, is admitting no judge has approved this fund...
Americans should not have to foot the bill for people who broke the law & attacked law enforcement.
Absolutely horrified by the attack on the Islamic Center of San Diego, which includes a mosque and a school.
My prayers are with the community there.
Places of worship should be sanctuaries, for Muslims and people of all faiths. We must stand against Islamophobia and hatred.
So proud of this year’s OH-11 Youth Advisory Council. This weekend they shared their policy analysis on education, AI, health care, and nutrition.
It’s so important to invest in young people and nurture their interest in public service. Congrats to these young changemakers!
Congratulations to Bedford High's Alana M. for winning 1st place in the 2026 OH-11 Congressional Art Competition!
This contest empowers young artists to build confidence and nurture their creativity. Alana’s artwork will be proudly displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a full year!
Billions in taxpayer dollars for Trump's allies.
Meanwhile working Americans pay more, lose health care, and get nothing. Absolutely shameful, corrupt, and just plain wrong.

Congrats to the 25-26 OH-11 Youth Advisory Council!
This weekend, we celebrated these students as they delivered their capstone presentations on key issues that matter to them. It’s inspiring to see the next generation step forward, find their voice, and prepare to lead.
I was honored to attend the commissioning of the USS Cleveland. The ship’s motto is “Forge a Legacy” – a tribute to our industrial strength.
At the ceremony, I spoke about what “Cleveland” means to us - the pride we have in our city, our spirit, and our values.
Trump is breaking the economy and Black Americans are paying the price.
The Black unemployment rate rose again last month – now up to 7.3%.
Make no mistake: this has been intentional.

This weekend Cleveland will celebrate the commissioning of the USS Cleveland - and importantly, so much of this ship was made right here in Northeast Ohio.

Update from DC- I'm voting again to end Trump's war with Iran.
Americans don't want a ballroom, they don't want an expensive arch, they don't want a war. They want lower costs. They DO NOT want to foot the bill for Trump's vanity projects.
Have you no shame, Mr. President?
