I’m fighting to lower gas prices and that includes making E-15 fuel available year-round. This is a win for drivers, farmers, and families. Today I joined @budzinski.house.gov and Jed Bower, Ohio farmer, and President of the National Corn Growers to call on Congress to get this done.
Recently, I visited the Port of Cleveland with @rokhanna.bsky.social and spoke with officials, business owners, and labor leaders about boosting shipbuilding, creating jobs, and taking on China. The Port is an economic engine for NE Ohio and we need it to be all gas no brakes.
It's simple, Americans can't afford this president's agenda.   But instead of working to address the rising cost of living, this president would rather use your tax dollars to bankroll his billion-dollar ballroom & give ICE another $70 billion. www.cnn.com/2026/05/12/e...
Absolutely shameful from Rep. Kiggans. They aren't even trying to hide it anymore. Trump’s MAGA movement is fueled by racism, fixated on denigrating Black leaders, and focused on attacking Black voting rights. We see it and we won’t back down. www.mediaite.com/politics/hou...
Happy Jewish American Heritage Month!   This month, we celebrate the rich heritage of Jewish Americans and the many ways they have shaped our country, and recommit ourselves to fighting antisemitism with urgency.
Last week, I proudly announced my office secured $1.1 million for the Cleveland Metroparks CHEERS project to create an incredible lakefront park with trails, water access and a protected cove.  I will keep working to deliver resources so we can do big things in Cleveland.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing, incredible, and inspiring moms in NE Ohio!   Wishing you a wonderful day full of happiness and joy. In Congress, I’ll keep working for what moms need: equal pay, health care for families, lower costs for groceries and child care, and more.
When it comes to manufacturing, we’ve got to take on China and win. I welcomed House China Committee Ranking Member, @rokhanna.bsky.social to the Port of Cleveland for a meeting with leaders from the port, the maritime industry, and labor on how we can create more jobs in NE Ohio.
Virginians made their voice heard at the ballot box. Today, the VA Supreme Court unilaterally overturned that election. At the same time, Republicans are attempting racial gerrymanders across the South. The fight is not over. We will use every tool we have to fight back.
Proud to announce that my office secured over $1 million in funds for Cleveland Metroparks' CHEERS project.   CHEERS will be transformational, creating new park space on the East Side with lakefront parkland and a protected cover with natural shoreline habitat, trails, and more.
Small business owners face so many barriers, and as a former entrepreneur, I remember how overwhelming it felt. That's why we hold our Small Business Expo - to create a one-stop shop for NE Ohioans looking to take their business to the next level. #SBE26
This administration is completely out of touch.   Americans are using their credit cards to pay for basic necessities like gas because costs are way too high. That's not a good thing.   But Trump's lackeys think this is something to smile about? Get real.
Hassett on American consumers: "Credit card spending is through the roof. They're spending more on gasoline, but they're spending more on everything else too."
