I was honored to join Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne, Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb, and Cleveland Metroparks to break ground on the Euclid Beach Connector trail – supported with $850,000 secured by my office. This trail will expand Lake access – another win for NE Ohio!
Earlier this year, my office secured $850,000 in federal funding for the Euclid Beach Connector, a new trail expanding lakefront access. Today we celebrated the groundbreaking! Proud to keep delivering for NE Ohio.
I'm extremely proud to have secured $500,000 in funding for the Center for Entrepreneurs at Tri-C. This will help local entrepreneurs start and grow their business - and we celebrated this win at our Small Business Expo. Signed, sealed, and delivered - results for NE Ohio.
Our 4th Annual OH-11 Small Business Expo & Conference was a day of growth, hope, and opportunity.   So grateful to have so many local business leaders and organizations join us to share advice and resources with the next generation of NE Ohio entrepreneurs. #SBE26
And that’s a wrap on the 4th Annual OH-11 Small Business Expo & Conference! It was amazing seeing so many aspiring and current entrepreneurs. Thank you to all of our presenters and participating organizations. You made it a one-stop shop for tools, tips and resources.
Next they will say benefits must be cut. 100% no way. I will fight ANY attempts to cut Social Security – in fact we should EXPAND benefits. And I'm on the Social Security 2100 Act to make that a reality. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
Because of Trump’s Big Ugly Law, 4 million people have already lost SNAP food assistance. And because of Trump’s tariffs, costs are up for farmers and at the grocery store. Republicans just sent us a Farm Bill that cements both bad policies – that’s why I voted NO.
Republicans in the South aren't even trying to hide it anymore. They're scrambling to draw new districts and even delay elections - all because the Supreme Court gave them a free pass to silence Black voters.    www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
Northeast Ohio gas prices jumped again overnight – stations are now nearing $5.00 per gallon. Trump had no idea what he was doing when he launched a new war in the Middle East and has no plan to get out. And the American people are paying the price. fox8.com/news/gas-pri...
SCOTUS just gave states a free pass to suppress the voting rights of people of color.   We’re about to witness exactly why the Voting Rights Act was needed in the first place.   Congress must pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to defend our right to vote & our right to representation.
The Supreme Court declared Louisiana’s addition of a second majority-Black congressional district an unconstitutional racial gerrymander on Wednesday, a 6-3 decision along ideological lines that weakens a central provision of the Voting Rights Act.
The Trump Admin is seeking to mass deport thousands of Haitians, including 45,000 people in Ohio. Today, the Supreme Court heard arguments on Trump’s plan – which I voted to stop.  Denying Haitians asylum from violence would be another moral failure from this Supreme Court.
