The problem isn’t the name. The problem is Trump's ICE is terrorizing our communities, hiding behind masks, and acting like they are above the law.   Americans don't want a new name. We want the violence to end. www.foxnews.com/politics/tru...
Better economy where? You mean the one where Americans paid $300 more on their groceries to compensate for Trump's tariffs?   Kicking 4.3 million Americans off of SNAP is not a flex, it's a failure. That's why I've authored legislation to reverse the Trump SNAP cuts.
Brooke Rollins: "We now have moved 4.3 million Americans off of the food stamp program. A lot of that is fraud. A lot of that is people taking the program that shouldn't have been. And a lot of it is just a better economy, so people don't need food stamps."
Today I joined @budzinski.house.gov and colleagues in the @laborcaucus.house.gov in calling on REI to negotiate with union workers in Orange and nationwide on a fair collective bargaining agreement and to avoid any union-busting.
Trump and Elon spent a year trying to destroy Social Security -> now offices are closing. Trump’s rich friends got tax cuts, Trump’s family got Pentagon contracts, and working people got higher prices and benefit cuts. Absolutely shameful. www.usatoday.com/story/money/...
Very grateful that everyone is safe tonight and that law enforcement acted quickly to prevent a terrible tragedy at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Political violence and attacks on elected officials and the press are an attack on our democracy and must be condemned.
Happy Arbor Day! Did you know that trees can lower temperatures, reduce energy costs & clean our air? But now, underserved areas have 41% less trees than well-off areas.   That's why I introduced the Neighborhood Tree Act so every community can access the benefits trees offer.
Not even trying to cover it up anymore. Corruption is the mindset for this White House. Trump's disastrous war is making insiders richer while working Americans struggle to get by. And Republicans refuse to stand up to this president.
“Are you concerned about insider trading on these prediction markets re: the war?” TRUMP: “The world is a casino. It is what it is.” 🤷🏼 And there you have it, folks!
Trump is union-busting again, this time he’s teaming up with Hegseth and going after DOD workers in Cleveland. I'm standing with federal workers because bargaining rights are fundamental. We’ve fought back and we’ve won before, and we will do so again. www.cleveland.com/news/2026/04...
I’m proud to join @booker.senate.gov and @dorismatsui.bsky.social to announce the Neighborhood Tree Act – legislation to accelerate tree planting in underserved communities. Trees clean the air, reduce heat, lower energy costs and improve quality of life – and every zip code deserves that.
Ohio is third in the nation for manufacturing jobs.   But thanks to Trump, those jobs are disappearing.   This gold-plated White House proves every day they have no idea how their policies are hurting working people, or worse, they don't care. SHAME.
Rep. DeLauro: Do you know how many manufacturing jobs the U.S. lost per day last year? Lutnick: I don't know that statistic. Rep. DeLauro: U.S. manufacturing lost more than 100 jobs per day last year. That's more than 88,000 jobs in total.
Spoiler alert: They have no plan.   This administration is all talk and no action. Meanwhile Americans are struggling from the farm to the grocery store.   The American people want relief from rising costs, not more posturing.
VARNEY: Do you have a plan to mitigate this fertilizer problem, Madame Secretary? BROOKE ROLLINS: Yes. We have been every day now for almost 50 days having daily meetings in the White House. During the Biden years... VARNEY: But what is the plan? You've had lots of meetings, but what is the plan?
