Republicans caused this healthcare crisis and it is detrimentally hurting our families. We need affordable healthcare. (2/2)
Inflating healthcare costs are threatening communities across America. In CA-31, Karen shared with me that her premium costs are going up 40%. This increase is going to take half of her and her husband’s income, causing a huge financial burden. (1/2)
Congratulations to the South El Monte High School Eagles football team for winning the 2025 CIF Division 14 Championship game. Through teamwork and determination, they claimed the school’s first ever championship in a nail-biting 14-6 win. You have made CA-31 extremely proud.

Pete Hegseth is a threat to our servicemembers, and must resign immediately.
Statement from New Dem Chair @repschneider.bsky.social & National Security Working Group Chair @cisneros.house.gov.
I met with the Association of the United States Army to discuss how we can best support and honor our Army servicemembers, their families, and veterans through education, networking, and better resources.
Congratulations to Tire Choice Auto Service Centers in the City of San Dimas on their grand opening! Sending you a warm welcome to CA-31 and wishing you the best in serving our community with quality auto services.
This season, the South El Monte High School Lady Eagles volleyball team brought home their first-ever CIF-SS Division 9 Championship! These athletes kept training, refused to quit, and pushed themselves all the way to this historic win. Your community is very proud of you.
This will be a pivotal step in recognizing those who fought for our country, regardless of citizenship status. (2/2)
I am proud to announce I introduced a bipartisan bill with Rep. Pete Sessions that will grant symbolic, honorary posthumous U.S. citizenship to some Filipino noncitizens who served and died in the U.S. military during World War II. (1/2)
My bill will require the SBA Office of Advocacy to truly listen to small businesses so it can work to push for their needs across the federal government – from rules to tariffs and even healthcare. (2/2)
I introduced the Cut the Burden, Keep the Benefits Act to allow small businesses to raise concerns over bad regulations, highlight rules that safeguard small business interest, and all other burdensome government action. (1/2)
El dia de hoy he recibido noticias sobre reportes de ICE interumpiendo nuestra comunidad. Por favor mantengansen a salvo y recuerden que tienen derechos constitucionales, a pesar de su estatus migratorio.
I have been hearing reports of ICE raids disrupting our community today. Please stay safe and remember that you have constitutional rights, regardless of citizenship status.
Small businesses need relief. Trump’s chaotic use of tariffs are hurting Main Street and the SBA’s Office of Advocacy should hear these concerns and be a true voice for small businesses across the federal government.
I am proud to announce the passage of my bipartisan bill with Rep. Brian Jack, the SBA IT Modernization Reporting Act. This legislation will enhance the SBA’s ability to develop, implement, and manage future IT modernization projects and strengthen how the SBA supports small businesses nationwide.
Now we know why Hegseth and Trump got so angry about my colleagues reminding service members that they don’t have to follow illegal orders.
Pete Hegseth, himself gave an illegal order that resulted in the death of defenseless individuals.
He needs to be held accountable.
To all of our small business owners who have followed their dreams, thank you for being the beating heart of our community. #ShopSmall (2/2)
On Small Business Saturday, I want to recognize all the incredible small businesses we have across CA-31. The sacrifices and hard work that go into starting a small business are no small feat. (1/2)
Happy Thanksgiving, CA-31! I hope everyone enjoys the holiday with family, friends, and community. This year, I am grateful for my family and the CA-31 community for entrusting me to be your voice in Congress.
My prayers are with the two National Guardsman who were cowardly targeted by a gunman. Violence is never the answer to any problem.
