Rep. McIver was conducting oversight. That’s her duty as a Member of Congress. This isn’t justice—it’s retaliation. A political stunt meant to silence anyone who dares to hold power accountable. They may think they can scare us into silence. They’re dead wrong.
This indictment is no more justified than the original charges. I will not be intimidated. My full statement:
RFK Jr., who's supposed to be all about "facts and logic," is out here removing members of the CDC’s vaccine advisory committee?!? Y’all, these aren’t political appointees. These are public health experts—people who’ve spent their careers working to keep Americans safe from disease.
Our 5th Annual Fish n’ Kids Festival was a whole vibe! 🐟🎣 It’s always a joy bringing families together and connecting with so many members of our community. Big shoutout to everyone who showed up, showed love, and helped make this another unforgettable year!
The folks hollering about “family values” are out here tearing families apart with unlawful ICE raids, militarized police, & the weaponization of government. All while ripping away food & healthcare from working-class families. Are the family values in the room with us?
First they illegally deport citizens. Then they unleash ICE to terrorize communities. Now they’ve got the National Guard in L.A. to silence protestors. This ain’t about law and order. This is what authoritarianism looks like.
Weird how Republicans say they’re worried about Big Tech and government overreach...until it’s Elon Musk. We tried to subpoena him over privacy concerns and data abuse. They blocked us. They’re not doing oversight—they’re doing cover-ups.
This morning, Democrats tried to subpoena Elon Musk so he could answer to the American people. But instead of standing with us, Republicans spent about 30 minutes scrambling to shut down debate and protect their favorite billionaire.
This morning, Democrats moved to subpoena Elon musk to answer to the American people. Instead of standing with us, Republicans scrambled for 30 mins to shut down debate and protect Musk.
We’re in the DOGE Subcommittee hearing, but where’s Elon? Is the “oversight” in the room with us?
Republicans wanted to talk about NGOs and Stacey Abrams. But, Trump’s out here slapping a for sale sign on the White House lawn—and y’all wanna play games?
Trump is shutting down Job Corps—kicking vulnerable young people out of housing, job training, and education programs with zero plan. Don’t tell me this man gives a damn about the working class when he’s gutting the very programs that help folks get on their feet.
No matter your background or beliefs, no one should fear for their safety because of their identity. No one should be threatened, harassed, or harmed simply for existing. We don’t have to agree on everything to agree on this: hate has no place in our communities. (2/2)
Hate is on the rise—and it’s showing up in ways that should alarm every single one of us. We’re seeing violent attacks targeting people for who they are, what they believe, or how they choose to live. That’s unacceptable. (1/2)
