Nancy Mace continues to disparage people of color while ignoring the fact that the last dual citizen to serve as a member of Congress was a member of her own party. This is nothing more than a hateful, disgusting attack to score political points with hateful oligarchs on her campaign trail.
Nancy Mace’s bill to ban naturalized citizens from serving in government is hateful and disgusting. Naturalized citizens should absolutely be allowed to serve in government. America was built off the backs of immigrants and our nation’s diversity is what brings vibrancy to our country.
Local municipalities are too often asked to keep up with today’s technology without being given the proper resources. I’m introducing the State and Local Public Sector Innovation Act to help state and local governments innovate their own systems to better the administration of public services.
Public universities continue to turn a blind eye to attacks on our communities. Athletes and supporters have the ability to help ensure that these institutions do not go quiet at this critical period in history.
This should come as a surprise to no one. This Administration continues to prioritize wars abroad and attacks on the most vulnerable people across our communities over doing anything to improve the day-to-day lives of Americans.
The same man who blames our country’s problems on immigrants is, once again, stealing taxpayer dollars. Oligarchs like Trump are the problem in our country and this blatant show of corruption demonstrates that clearly once again.
Our federal government should not compromise and allow private insurance companies to keep raking in billions while our communities are struggling to get the care they need. I’ll support all efforts to expand healthcare access—but Medicare for All is the proper route forward.

I am deeply saddened by the news of a shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego. My heart is with the victim and their loved ones during this time—and I am thankful for the swift response by law enforcement.
Last year, I helped introduce the PROTECT Immigration Act to put an end to this program—but the fear this agency is causing throughout our communities emphasizes the need to dismantle this rogue agency in its entirety.
I was proud to secure over $600,000 in federal funding for this project, and I will keep working alongside our local partners to make sure that we are meeting the moment with efforts to tackle the housing crisis.
