Happy to help bring some toys along to the Hope for the Holidays event hosted by 13 ABC and The Salvation Army of NW Ohio. With efforts such as this across our region, we can help thousands of NW Ohio kids enjoy a brighter holiday season.
84 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor we honor the 2,400+ American lives lost, lift up their memory, and reflect on that harrowing day. Their sacrifice, and the sacrifice of more than 407,000 American soldiers who lost their lives for the cause of Liberty in WWII must never be forgotten.
A joy to attend the holiday season rendition of The Sound of Music at the Playmaker Civic Theatre in Port Clinton. Congratulations to all involved on a wonderful performance showcasing the spirit and talent that lives within our NW Ohio communities.
The new National Security “Strategy” shows paranoia—not strength. Instead of proposing a plan for threats to our safety and American interests, it betrays Liberty for a dangerous ideologically focused agenda. It sees allies as problems—not partners. It does not meet the mark.
70 years ago, the AFL-CIO was formed with a bold vision—the dignity of a day's work must be matched by the dignity of a worker's life. This merger formed a promise: America would be stronger when working people stand together. Thanks for 70 years of solidarity, strength, and service to our families.
Appreciate Governor DeWine stepping in with this prudent veto. Jobs at a young age can be transformative and quite beneficial in developing drive and work ethic—but this extreme bill went too far, and could have harmed our youth. Glad to see our Governor look for the Big Middle.
Citizens nationwide and in NW Ohio are asking important questions on data centers. They're worried that facilities demand massive amounts of energy, eat up farmland, cede local ownership and control, and drive up utility costs even more. Ask questions first!
Secretary Hegseth can’t be trusted to lead. Authorizing a “double-tap” that likely amounts to a war crime AND putting our forces at risk by sending classified information on unsecured platforms warrants an intervention and his immediate exit from the Pentagon. Show him the door.
For 167 years, one of the world's greatest collections of coins — doubloons, silver dollars, and denarii that tell the story of civilization and economic progress itself, sat largely unseen in vaults in New York. But now these treasures are coming to NW Ohio, to the world class Toledo Museum of Art.
While headlines are warning of potential war crimes in the hunt for Venezuelan drug smugglers, why would the President’s top priority be to pardon a convicted drug trafficker sentenced to 45 years for his crimes?
No, I’m pretty sure the people I talk to across NW Ohio want lower prices. But not surprising that the Billionaire who bought the Washington Post for fun is pushing this kind of propaganda.
This #SmallBusinessSaturday, I’m grateful for the hardworking entrepreneurs who power NW Ohio. From our family-run shops to our neighborhood markets, you keep our communities vibrant and strong. Let’s show up, shop local, and uplift the businesses that make home feel like home!
This National Family Caregivers Month, we recognize the quiet heroes who give their days, nights, and hearts to those they love. Your strength holds families together, and your compassion lifts our communities. Your devotion reminds us that love in action is the greatest public service. Thank you.
Black Friday hits different when prices are already inflated. A ‘deal’ doesn’t feel like a deal when reckless trade wars are driving up costs before you even hit the checkout counter. Prices on everyday goods keep climbing, and even “sale” tags can’t hide the pain shifted onto working families.
