Trump’s tariffs are CRUSHING NJ businesses and shoppers. More than half are saying they're going to have to hike prices—just as New Jerseyans can least afford it. Didn't Trump promise to bring prices DOWN? www.njspotlightnews.org/2025/12/ener...
With this move, Trump is trying to say that his BIRTHDAY is more important than millions of Americans winning their freedom and their civil rights.
Spoiler alert: it's not. www.npr.org/2025/12/06/g...
This semester was an unprecedented one, but our interns did a stellar job despite the odds. Looking forward to seeing all the great things they’ll accomplish in the future.
Thank you to this semester’s interns and law clerks in my Washington office and at my Energy and Commerce Committee for their hard work and service!

I continue to be amazed at how students in my district innovate and develop apps that make our world a safer and more connected place.
We have a winner! Congratulations to Eric and Vaibhav for winning the Congressional App Challenge with their app, RoadWatch. It harnesses the power of AI to detect road infrastructure issues, alert drivers, and report incidents to local governments.
Trump doesn’t want Americans to know just how bad he’s made the economy—but Americans are still shelling out more and more at the cash register this holiday season. He can’t sweep this one under the rug. www.wsj.com/economy/bls-...
And not a moment too soon!
Trump promised to unify America, but he’s only dividing us with his rhetoric.
Are Mike Johnson and the @HouseGOP going to call him out after he calls entire groups of people “garbage?” Or is that what they stand for, too?

Companies are raking in record profits while they make hundreds of thousands of people unemployed—but the Americans that have jobs are still having to budget on SHOESTRINGS.
America is officially worse.
We have Ebenezer Scrooge as our President.
Trump’s policies exploit working families and blow holes in their wallets—to the point that they're struggling to celebrate the holidays. www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcn...
The Trump @fda.gov keeps running from the truth and using quack science to make their decisions—and I won’t stop holding them accountable.
I’m demanding answers from the Administration on their reckless claims that threaten Americans’ access to life-saving vaccines.
Join me now for my weekly update!
Today I wrote to FERC demanding that it makes sure hardworking families aren’t the ones who pay the price. Americans can’t afford to subsidize data centers with their own electricity bills.
The affordability of electricity in America is under threat. Data centers are eating up HUGE amounts of energy and straining our power grid.

It’s what I’ve been saying ALL ALONG.
Closing the Long Branch hospital would put health care access throughout the region at risk.
Last night, the State Health Planning Board deferred a decision on the potential closure of Monmouth Medical Center hospital in Long Branch over concerns that RWJ Barnabas Health’s application to close it would deal a death blow to health equity in the region.
Everyone deserves access to life-saving health care at a hospital.
