RWJBarnabas and Governor Murphy are shutting down Long Branch’s only hospital before he leaves office. There’s no reason to rush this except one: profit. A so-called ‘nonprofit’ hospital is abandoning a working-class community to build a luxury facility for wealthier patients.
It’s DAY 17 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. It’s real simple. Cancel the cuts. Lower the costs. Save health care. Republicans shut the government down rather than do ANY of these three things.
RWJBarnabas is closing Long Branch’s only hospital to build a luxury hospital for wealthier patients in Tinton Falls. I fought to have both hospitals, but Governor Murphy sided with RWJ, which puts profits over patients.
Republicans are costing us BILLIONS in economic output because they want to double the price of your health insurance. They don't know the first thing about running an economy, let alone lowering costs.
It's DAY 16 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT.   Serving the American people should be something we can all agree on--but Republicans insist on jamming their cruel cuts to your health care through. We're not having it.
The wannabe king is at it again stealing money from Blue States. Do any Republicans in NY or NJ have anything to say about this theft? This is the most important mass transit project in our state, and I won’t rest until funding is restored.
I just joined my Democratic colleagues in Washington to unpack just how disastrous the Republican cuts to health care will be to American families. Real people are going to feel real pain, and Republicans shut the government down rather than lower peoples’ health care costs.
Joined my colleagues in marching to Speaker Johnson’s office to demand that Adelita Grijalva be SWORN IN. Blocking her swearing in is a direct attempt to prevent a release of the Epstein Files and to deny the people of Arizona’s 7th Congressional District a voice in Congress. Swear her in, NOW.
Americans need lower costs NOW. Trump seems to have turned a blind eye.   He wants MORE tariffs, UNAFFORDABLE health care, and his cuts to clean energy show he wants HIGHER utility bills.
It’s DAY 14 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT.   America has endured TWO WEEKS of Republicans refusing to come to the table to lower costs for your family. TWO WEEKS of our country held hostage by refusing to have the House meet.
It’s DAY 13 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT.   Republicans canceled votes for YET ANOTHER week. They continue to jam through their cuts to your health care without regard for lowering costs.
It’s been 738 days of pain and anguish for the Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity and their families. The Israeli people have been resilient and steadfast throughout this crisis. I’m hopeful that the release of the hostages today will lead to a new era of peace and cooperation in the region.
