Here celebrating Italian American heritage in Woodbridge. Letitia “Tish” Coughlin was honored as Miss Italian America and Lou Nardiello was honored as Italian American Man of the Year. Congratulations!
No Kings rallies are supported by people who love America and don’t want our country to be reduced to dictatorship by Donald Trump. There’s nothing more American than using your rights to free speech and assembly to advocate for democracy.
Visited the “From Folk to Form” exhibit at the Hungarian American Foundation’s Oktoberfest celebration. This artwork, by Suzanne Ócsai, is made with steel wire and incorporates traditional Hungarian themes.
Hosted my 15th annual U.S. service academy day at Middlesex College in Edison. Thanks to the representatives from the academies who presented, including Midshipman Varad Donwad from Edison, who I appointed to the U.S. Naval Academy.
It's DAY 11 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT.    Every day that the government remains closed, remember: it’s because Republicans don’t want to negotiate to lower your health care costs. They own this shutdown.
It’s DAY 10 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT.    Instead of coming back to Washington to save your health care, Republicans are IN HIDING. They’re refusing to talk to Democrats to form an agreement that would lower your costs.
It’s time for the Administration to stop playing games with people’s health care and use its existing legal authority to ensure seniors can continue to utilize Medicare’s telehealth program and the hospital at home program.
The Trump Administration is trying to make the health care crisis worse by manufacturing a Medicare telehealth crisis. Let me be clear: this is unnecessary and cruel to the millions of seniors who rely on telehealth to see their doctors.

Thanks to Monmouth University's Urban Coast Institute for honoring me today with their National Champions of the Ocean Award. I will continue to advocate for New Jersey's coastal communities.
It’s DAY 9 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. Americans are feeling the sting of Republicans shutting the government down so they could jam through the biggest price hikes to your health insurance in recent history. All those missed pay checks and hours of waiting are on them.
My heart is with the families who have fought, prayed, and waited every single day for this moment, who may now see their loved ones come home at last. And for everyone who has called for a ceasefire, this should be a relief – the long-awaited sign that this terrible war can finally end.
It is my sincere hope that the ceasefire in Gaza, which so far, is holding, will lead to a permanent peace that includes Israel removing its troops and Hamas laying down its arms. Most important is the release of the hostages.
