People shed blood and died for the right to vote. The assault on the Voting Rights Act is a danger to us all. We will continue the fight for fair representation and access to vote across the country.

An honor to worship at the New Philadelphia AME Church this morning. Thank you Pastor Darryl Walker and the congregation for your warm welcome and commitment to our community.
We will continue to show up, tell the stories of the immigrants and their families, advocate for their release and family reunification, and fight to reverse Trump’s ICE terror tactics.
Was in Dilley, TX today with @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social & @repgregstanton.bsky.social for another oversight visit of the ICE detention center. Unlike last time, they made it difficult for immigrants to meet w/ us & we could only meet with TWO FAMILIES. What are they trying to hide & keep from us?
Now they will be forced to leave the country to apply for a green card — with no guarantee they will ever come back.
It's wrong. We will fight like hell against this action and push for it to be reversed.
Trump's cruel new policy will tear families apart, ruin lives, and damage businesses and communities across the country.
Students. Researchers. STEM workers. Spouses of U.S. citizens. And so many others. People who came here legally and built lives here.
The men and women of Local 56 help form the backbone of our port communities — proud to recognize them for their hard work and community service. We will always stand with our partners in labor, including calling out the Trump admin for trying to sideline our local ILWU workers during Fleet Week.
Joined ILWU Local 56 in #SanPedro to welcome our service members for LA Fleet Week!
On Memorial Day, we honor our fallen service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. And we recognize their families and communities who can never replace their loved ones. Never forget.
Great kick-off in #Wilmington for LA Fleet Week! Special thanks to the Rotary Club of Wilmington & Councilmember Tim McOsker for hosting.
We celebrated the annual arrival of our sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen to our port communities and honored them for their service to our country.
Today, we honored the fallen service members from Long Beach and the Lost 74 sailors of the USS Frank E. Evans at Long Beach’s Memorial Day Commemoration. We also recognized our next generation of leaders from Dominguez High School’s Marine Corps JROTC Program.
This Memorial Day weekend, we remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
The Strengthening Medicare for Patients and Providers Act will ensure our providers get Medicare payment rates that keep up with the rising costs of inflation, so patients can continue to get the care they need from the doctors they want to go to.
Americans need primary care providers — so providers need adequate Medicare reimbursements so they can continue their practices.
But @housedemocrats.bsky.social are fighting for you and your right to your own hard-earned dollars.
Trump and Republicans have done NOTHING to lower YOUR cost of living.
Instead, they made extensive cuts to your health care, launched a reckless war on Iran, and want to use your tax dollars to help ICE go after our neighbors.
The American Music Fairness Act would ensure those whose songs are played on radio stations are properly compensated. Let’s make sure our creative middle class gets paid.
The radio industry earns $14 billion/year in advertising revenue. How much do the artists that drive listeners to AM/FM stations receive? $0.
Trump made a deal with HIS DOJ, run by HIS former personal lawyer, to stop HIM and HIS family from being investigated for unpaid taxes.
This is corruption, plain and simple. This is BS. This is NOT the behavior of an American president.
Republicans want to CUT funding to clean up contaminated properties. They say we can’t afford it.
Yet, they support a $1 billion ballroom for the President.
Stop kissing the President’s a$$ and support Americans’ priorities.
