I’m glad that it looks like the war in Iran is coming to an end, but this MOU is absolutely not a good deal for our country.

No matter what’s going on in the world, it’s important we put things aside to rejoice in these milestones.
It’s been a big week for housing.
On Monday, I announced the my Community Housing Act to bring costs down. And yesterday, a bipartisan deal was struck on a major housing package.
There’s agreement - whatever your politics and wherever you live - that this is a crisis that demands action.
Let’s be clear: Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress kicked MILLIONS of Americans off health care through their refusal to bring premiums down.
They quite literally took the money they could have used for this and instead cut taxes for the ultra-wealthy. Disgusting.
The targeting of the trans community has been one of the most disgusting aspects of this administration.
I’ll never turn my back on our trans neighbors, whether they’re in Vermont or anywhere else in the country. They deserve the same rights and respect as anyone else.
Surprise, surprise.
Yet again, Trump lied about the funding details for one of his big vanity projects - and you’re footing the bill.
It shouldn’t be so hard to watch football.
Starting next season, the only authorized way for restaurants and bars to watch out-of-market games will be through EverPass Media, a joint venture between the NFL and a private equity firm.
We can already see more cost increases on the horizon.
Unfortunately, it turns out we were right. The Trump admin, led by people like Stephen Miller, WAS considering invoking the Insurrection Act against American citizens.
This shows that we all need to stay loud and keep calling this stuff out. They’re doing exactly what we think they’re doing.
Today, alongside critical community partners, I announced the reintroduction of the Community Housing Act. This is one of the most significant pieces of legislation I lead in Congress.
This bill is full of concrete actions we can take to address the housing crisis. And we have no time to waste.
The comment was disgusting, racist, and obviously not true, but this is a great opportunity to remind folks that First Lady Melania Trump was in the Epstein files, which is disgusting and unfortunately very true.
When I was first elected to Congress, I had no idea just how often I’d need to stand up for our LGBTQ+ rights.
I’m honored to do this work, and I won’t stop until every person in this country can be their whole and true self.
Trump installed a lackey to lead the Department of Justice, and now he wants to make him permanent.
The absurd idea of making Todd Blanche the permanent attorney general conflicts with the entire concept of an independent DOJ.
The problem with tonight’s UFC fight is the grift. For Trump’s birthday vanity project, he’s using OUR White House as a billboard for corporations.
If only he’d spend this much effort on lowering people’s everyday costs.
Government used to be the driving engine for innovation.
With their cuts to research and science, the Trump administration is putting our progress at risk and driving some of our brightest minds overseas.
This week, Republicans decided we don’t have the time or money to lower the cost of food, gas, housing, and health care, but we have plenty of both to give $70B to ICE and Border Patrol.
This is all so screwed up.
Have you noticed that plane travel is even worse now than it was a few years ago?
It’s because the Trump admin keeps bowing down to the airlines and rolling back rules that were in place to protect us.
This is the merger that would put TikTok, CNN, and CBS under the control of one mega business and force prices up, wages down, and people to lose their jobs.
But Paramount’s CEO David Ellison has been wining and dining Trump and his cronies so of course the DOJ approves it.
Today, Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire.
It's a ridiculous amount of money for one person to be sitting on and comes as countless Americans are struggling to afford food, housing, and health care.
We need to tax wealth – immediately.
This is yet another step in the Trump admin's campaign to silence dissent in our country. Mohsen Mahdawi is a lawful permanent resident whose constitutional rights must be protected.
I will continue to stand with Mohsen throughout this absurd legal saga.

10 years ago today, 49 lives were stolen in an act of senseless violence at #Pulse Nightclub.
As we remember the victims, many of whom were LGBTQI+ and Latine, we must all recommit to ending the epidemic of extremist violence so that all people may be free to live without fear.
