Winter is not giving up yet, and our district is feeling it today. Please check out the resources available — warming shelter locations, tips for managing if you lose power temporarily, and safety warnings for you and your pets. Stay off the roads if you can!

Today, I am sharing the words of other American Presidents who have taken on the responsibility of protecting our democracy and demonstrated both an understanding of and dedication to the Constitution.
My colleagues and I pushed for years for his release, and I am thrilled to hear Marc Fogel is finally out of Russia and on his way back to the U.S. after years of being wrongfully detained. Welcome home to PA, Marc! www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...
Please join me at my annual State of the Sixth Address and Town Hall. We started this tradition in 2020 as a way to review the previous year and answer questions about the year ahead.
Monday, February 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. RSVP for the event at houlahan.house.gov/forms/form/?...
THE EAGLES ARE YOUR 2025 SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!! 🦅🦅🦅🦅
Let’s go Birds!! 🦅🦅🦅
This week, I highlight Darryl Mace, Vice President for Mission, Diversity & Inclusion at Alvernia University. Inspired by personal stories, Darryl has found strength in personal storytelling, leveraging these lived experiences to connect across differences, preserve black history & foster inclusion.
During Black History Month, I celebrate black excellence this year with a focus on educators in our district who are helping to preserve the rich heritage of Black Americans and foster diverse and inclusive environments.
The past week — with federal layoffs, takeovers, and dissolving agencies — has made it crystal clear that President Trump and his Administration have a blatant disregard for workers and their rights. We must protect workers rights.
Thirty-two years ago, the Family and Medical Leave Act was signed into law, which gives employees the right to take “unpaid” leave without getting fired. We still have progress to make to provide actual “paid” leave for people, but we also cannot go backward.
We've gotten thousands of calls this week, and we're trying to get back to everyone who asked us to call back.
If our inbox fills up, please send us an email at houlahan.house.gov/contact. We listen to every voicemail and read every email!
I'm going to reintroduce my bill to deliver this protection and expect bicameral, bipartisan support again to make it happen.
Every year, thousands of drones are illegally flown over NFL stadiums. Every major event at a stadium should have access to the same counter-drone technology that will be used to keep the Super Bowl safe on Sunday.
I am particularly concerned about the risks that these systems could be shut off, data could be exposed to our adversaries, private citizen data could be made public, & the risks to the markets. We cannot, & will not, allow an unelected billionaire to have unchecked access to sensitive information.
That's why I joined 154 House colleagues in writing a letter to Secretary Scott Bessent demanding answers on the legality of Musk's access to payment systems and further information on what he (and his team) has access to.
Elon Musk's undemocratic and illegal takeover of federal agencies is reprehensible, specifically his access to the Treasury Department's payment systems.
U.S. troops on the ground will reignite this conflict, escalate tension, and put Americans, Israelis, and Palestinians at risk. I call on the President to immediately change course.
The ceasefire deal currently in place is fragile, but it’s working. Hostages are reuniting with their families, and displaced Gazans are returning & rebuilding. The President's provocative language puts these peace negotiations at risk & endangers the lives of the hostages still in Hamas captivity.
I am appalled by President Trump’s announcement to take control of Gaza and force Palestinians to leave their homeland. The forced displacement of millions of people is a crime violating both U.S. and international law, & for President Trump to advocate for this so casually is shocking & dangerous.
Tulsi Gabbard should not be confirmed as Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
Call your Senators and tell them to vote no on Gabbard to keep us, our allies, and our secrets safe. www.senate.gov/senators/sen...

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
