This is a meaningful, lasting action that puts patients first and delivers real certainty for the Long Branch community.
It prevents disruptions in care, avoids overburdening nearby hospitals, and guarantees that patients, especially vulnerable residents, will continue to have access to lifesaving services close to home.
This law locks in a clear path to preserve inpatient care and a full-service emergency department at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, while allowing plans for a new facility in Tinton Falls to move forward responsibly.
I applaud Governor Murphy’s decision to sign this critical bill on his final day in office which will ensure that Long Branch will not lose the hospital services its community depends on.
These reckless tariffs are making China stronger and leaving us with eye-popping receipts at the grocery store. Trump is making America WEAKER. www.washingtonpost.com/world/2026/0...
Proud to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. here in Long Branch with the color guard.
On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we honor Dr. King’s legacy as a trailblazer for liberty in America.
We must carry on the work to achieve his dreams of equality and justice in the face of growing attacks on civil rights and free expression.
I’m proud of Springsteen for calling out Trump’s erosion of America’s promise.
Trump is trying to silence protests against ICE’s lawlessness. Our democracy is being tested, and like the Boss says—we must speak out against those who seek to destroy America’s values and ideals.
Trump is threatening military action across the globe right as he shuts serious journalists out of the Pentagon and turns anything that remains into a propaganda mouthpiece.
This should scare anyone who believes in government accountability. apnews.com/article/star...
Brendan Carr is weaponizing the FCC to censor speech Trump doesn't like. And Republicans are letting them get away with it.
I'm teaming up with @wyden.senate.gov
to demand the Trump Administration restore important measurements of child vaccinations.
We cannot abdicate responsibility to monitor the quality of care provided to nearly half of our nation’s children. democrats-energycommerce.house.gov/media/press-...
This bill would finally allow Americans to text pictures and videos to emergency personnel, helping them save even more lives.
It’s Congress’ job to make sure our first responders have the tools they need to do theirs. That’s why I’m strongly supporting passage of Next Generation 9-1-1 in @energycommerce.bsky.social today.
It’s National Bagel Day today—and every day in New Jersey! We’re the bagel capital of America, no matter what those wannabes across the Hudson might tell you.
He’s rubber-stamped media deals only after they included monetary & political benefits for Trump, and violated the 1st Amendment to threaten broadcasters that air speech Trump doesn’t like.
Today in @energycommerce.bsky.social, accountability begins.
The past year Chairman Brendan Carr has weaponized @FCC to benefit Trump and punish anyone who challenges him.
That's why I joined my colleagues @repgregstanton.bsky.social, @wassermanschultz.house.gov and @reptroycarter.bsky.social to urge President Trump to fire her before more Americans DIE because of her negligence.
On Kristi Noem's watch, FEMA let kids drown and entire communities get washed away. Now she's planning to cut more staff from an agency already on life support—and America can't afford that.
Her family deserves justice—and the American people deserve accountability for the lawlessness Trump and Noem have unleashed on our streets.
