As Homeland Security Ranking Member for Counterterrorism, I just received this list of grants the Trump Admin is blocking from funding.
This is a gift to terrorists and our adversaries across the world. Trump needs to stop this madness and resume funding now.
I was looking forward to catching up with seniors at the Cranston Senior Center today.
But just before the visit, we learned Trump’s funding freeze may cut critical programs they rely on.
People are understandably upset, & I’m fighting to get the Admin to reverse course & protect these services.
Jose from West Warwick reached out to our office when he needed a passport on short notice to attend the services of a loved one.
Within 48 hours, our constituent services team got him an appointment to get his passport.
