State-sanctioned murder is not justice & President Biden must take action to save lives.
On Human Rights Day, we’re urging him to use his clemency power to commute and re-sentence the 40 individuals on death row.

President Biden must act to reunite families, change lives, & help us tackle ending mass incarceration.
And here is who he could target. #ClemencyNOW
President Biden must use his clemency power to change lives.
And we have some ideas on who he can target:
Folks in custody with unjustified sentencing disparities, the elderly & chronically ill, people on death row, women punished for crimes of their abusers, & more.

Congresswoman Barbara Lee is an icon, friend, mentor, and partner in good who has blazed a trail for Black women in office.
Congress and our country are better off because of her.
It was my honor to say a few words to pay tribute to her legacy and leadership.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley had been hoping to see Biden use his pardon power during his final weeks in office, but she had a different way in mind. She's pushing him for even more sweeping action to grant clemency to those she feels are being unreasonably punished by the criminal justice system:
With his clemency authority, President Biden has the power to reunite families and change the lives of families across this nation for the better.
He must use it. #ClemencyNOW

@repcasar.bsky.social is an organizer, advocate, and activist leader who has never lost sight of the people.
His bold leadership and commitment to progress will be instrumental in the next Congress, and I congratulate him on becoming our new chair of @usprogressives.bsky.social.
President Biden must use his clemency power to address mass incarceration and reunite families.
This is a matter of doing the right thing, and it's a matter of legacy. www.politico.com/news/2024/12...
AI has the potential to transform our financial system for the better, but it can also worsen existing inequalities.
We must get this right.
We need to harness the power of AI to create more opportunities while protecting consumers, promoting equity, & expanding financial inclusion for all.
Thanks to President Biden and Vice President Harris, Medicare is lowering Rx drug costs for seniors across the #MA7.
The new $2,000/yr cap on out-of-pocket Rx drug costs will help seniors breathe easier.

TN's discriminatory law is just the latest in Republicans' cruel attacks on our trans & LGBTQ+ siblings.
SCOTUS must uphold the Constitution’s promise of equal protection & strike the law down.

There are folks behind the wall who pose no threat to society & whose lives are deteriorating due to our unjust criminal legal system.
President Biden must use his clemency power to address mass incarceration & change the lives of families across the nation.

I'm thinking of all the people who pose no threat to society & whose lives are deteriorating due to our mass incarceration crisis & unjust criminal legal system.
For the families harmed by mass incarceration, President Biden must act.
Here's my statement on his pardon this week.
FEMA workers represent the best of public service & deserve our support.
But Republican attempts to question their integrity is an attack on FEMA's mission.
We can't turn this agency into a political game & we must give them the respect & resources they need to do their work.
