I'm calling on the Trump Administration to immediately unfreeze federal funding that's going to protect critical levels along the Colorado River.
Any delay in getting these dollars out the door puts desperately needed water conservation efforts at risk.
No one who voted yes can credibly claim to be either a budget hawk or someone who cares about protecting peoples' health care ever again.
The budget resolution that Republicans jammed through tonight—without a single Democratic vote—does 2 things:
1. It cuts Medicaid for half a million Arizonans
2. It adds trillions to the deficit
Today I'll be voting NO on the extreme Republican budget plan. It would be a disaster for Arizona families, hospitals and our economy.
It's families like Maureen’s that would be hit hardest by extreme Republicans' attempts to slash Medicaid funding.
