Congratulations to NASA and the Artemis II crew on a successful launch, especially pilot Victor Glover, a @calpolyslo.bsky.social Mustang!

Today, the Supreme Court hears arguments in a case that could decide whether children born in the United States are citizens. The 14th Amendment is clear: yes they are citizens.
Despite his tantrums, Trump cannot rewrite the Constitution. I call on the Supreme Court to rule accordingly.
I stand with the community and will continue to fight for their right to live dignified lives.
Today we celebrate International Transgender Day of Visibility. This serves as a reminder that although progress has been made, transgender and non-binary individuals continue to face discrimination of many forms.
On Farmworkers Day, we honor the hard work and sacrifices of the millions of men and women who put food on our plates every day. The success of farm workers has always been about the movement and strong collective action over any one person.
This past week, I hosted a roundtable with @newdems.bsky.social and small business owners to discuss the impact of Trump's reckless tariff policies. The stories these entrepreneurs told were a powerful reminder of why we need stability — not chaos — to help our local businesses thrive.
The Central Coast united this weekend to declare in one voice: no ICE, no war, and NO KINGS.
We will never bow down to this corrupt president.
I have always valued bipartisan cooperation and am proud of my continued work with Congressman Bacon to strengthen alliances abroad, bolster our national security, and support our veterans.
Special thank you to Glenn Nye for his recognition and leadership.
I am honored to have received the Publius Award from the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress alongside my friend and colleague, Congressman Don Bacon.
Despite the Supreme Court's ruling that Trump's tariffs were unlawful, Californians have yet to receive any of the refunds they are entitled to. Families and small businesses who bore the brunt of these illegal tariffs deserve to be made whole.
Americans everywhere have been clear that they think ICE is going too far, and I will continue to push for a DHS funding bill that ends this shutdown and holds ICE accountable.
Instead of working with Democrats on a commonsense bill to fund crucial agencies like TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard, — while also holding ICE accountable — Republicans pushed a partisan bill that does nothing to fix the situation.
Trump just spent $1 billion of taxpayer dollars to kill a renewable energy project. This is yet another example of Trump's reckless spending, and it's a disservice to families facing higher energy bills this year because of his war in Iran.
Republicans need to put partisanship aside and work with us to lower health care costs for everyone.
Today marks 16 years of the Affordable Care Act. While this law has been a lifeline for millions, last year’s Republican-led changes have left families vulnerable — forcing many to choose between their health and paying for basic necessities like rent or groceries.
Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating on the Central Coast! Wishing you and your loved ones many blessings on this holy day.
I stand firmly with the victims and their loved ones. My full statement on César Chávez:
Let’s be clear: restarting the Sable project won’t bring gas prices down.
Trump’s reckless war is causing the problem — and risking California’s coast is a hollow solution.
Today, I joined my colleagues in launching a discharge petition to force a vote on funding critical agencies like TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard — without fueling Trump’s ICE agenda.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social are taking action to keep our country safe and our government open.
Trump's war in Iran isn’t just a foreign policy issue — it’s creating an economic problem here at home.
Rising fertilizer costs are squeezing farmers and as a result, food prices are going up.
I will continue to push for legislation to rein in Trump's ability to recklessly start conflicts abroad.
