Well, well, well. The Acting FEMA Administrator said eliminating FEMA wasn’t in the best interest of the American people — and guess what?!?! They FIRED him. I guess that’s what happens when you stand up to your power-hungry “boss”.

Public school teachers deserve our support, not our attacks.
This Teacher Appreciation Week, let's not forget that the current Trump Administration is doing all it can to demolish the Department of Education, and with it, many teachers' student loan forgiveness plans, employment opportunities, and classroom resources.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to the ones who get it done, the real heroes, teachers.
Today, we wasted time voting on renaming the Gulf of Mexico—a name it’s had for almost 500 YEARS. We’ve got folks losing healthcare, schools underfunded, and rights under attack. We’ve got real issues. Prioritize THAT.
He’s busting correctional officers’ unions and cutting funding for federal prisons, but somehow expects outstanding performance from prison officers and staff. Sounds pretty hypocritical—and low IQ—if you ask me. Somebody, please, make it make sense.
Since we’re talking “low IQ,” let’s talk about Trump’s so-called “tough on crime” agenda.
I was honored to celebrate the powerhouse Class of 2025 at Tougaloo College. Thank you for letting me share this moment with you —and for the incredible honor of an honorary doctorate. Y’all are ready to change the world. Now go SET IT OFF!
Imagine being so bad at running the country that you waste time banning the 0.2% of troops who are trans instead of fixing the economy like you promised on day one. The eggs are still HIGH, Donnie. We are headed straight for a recession. If folks want to serve, LET THEM.
Immigration policy or bribery? Trump wants to PAY immigrants $1,000 to leave. This ain’t policy — it’s a payoff. And guess what? Our taxpayer dollars are funding it.
Trump is really out here asking SCOTUS to let Elon’s DOGE access Social Security??? They are not just coming for your check—they are coming for the whole damn system.
The Republicans aren’t listening to anybody but Trump. They know how detrimental these cuts will be to their constituents but instead of developing a backbone, standing up to Trump, & doing what’s right—they’re too scared, too spineless, & too sold out to fight for the folks they represent.
You really have to be a special kind of evil to rip $1 BILLION from school mental health and anti-violence programs—because they dared to be inclusive. Trump isn’t saving kids—he’s sacrificing them to push his hateful agenda.
Republicans on Oversight held a hearing attacking NPR & PBS. Now Trump’s following up by slashing funding for local public media that keep families informed & kids learning. As Vice Ranker, I’m calling it what it is: an assault on truth & accountability.
Human rights are being violated. Planes are falling from the sky. There are mass firings. And instead, they want to hold hearings on Big Bird and Elmo?
Nah—we need to hold them accountable.
We have a responsibility on the House Oversight Committee to OVERSEE and call out the bullshit this administration is pulling.
The people of TX-30 elected me to speak up and speak out for them — and that’s exactly what I’ll continue to do.
This is about resisting a full-scale assault on working people, immigrants, and anyone who dares to speak up. Period.
Workers, immigrants, and students are taking to the streets today for #MayDay to protest Trump’s attacks on our rights. This ain’t just about wages. It’s about rolling back child labor protections. It’s about union-busting. It’s about targeting immigrants and silencing students.
Trump tried to twist a 200-year-old law to deport Venezuelan migrants detained in South Texas to a PRISON in El Salvador — calling them an 'armed force.' A judge (HIS judge!) just shut it down.
A lie ain’t the law.
