According to a new report, consumer sentiment is at all-time low. Americans aren’t spending more because of a strong economy. They’re spending more because of Trump’s failed policies, which have sent prices skyrocketing.
Memorial Day Weekend means Washingtonians are traveling to spend time with family & friends. But thanks to Trump’s war with Iran, drivers are paying more to fill up their tank. Gas costs about $1.50 more per gallon compared to last year.
Let’s be clear - Republicans have done nothing to lower costs for families.  Instead, their megabill cut health care, slashed food assistance, & refused to curtail Trump’s reckless economic policies. Families are paying more as a result of their policies.
House Republicans just canceled a vote on an Iran War Powers Resolution because they knew they’d lose it. The American people are sick & tired of this war that has no strategy, no goals, and is sending gas prices soaring.
