Happy Holi! May this day bring you joy and happiness celebrating the festival of colors with friends and family.
Congressman Raúl Grijalva was a strong and fierce advocate for our lands, waters, wildlife, and making our country a cleaner, safer, better place for all Americans.
He was a fighter until the end, and his work will always be remembered by the countless people it impacted.
The 2025 Congressional Art Competition is accepting submissions! Fill out a student release form on my website and drop off your piece at my district office for a chance to have your artwork displayed in the US Capitol!

Musk and Trump are running critical government programs into the ground just like their businesses.

I voted ‘no’ on the continuing resolution.
Congressman Sylvester Turner was a colleague and a friend. His devotion to public service made Houston and the world a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I won't stop fighting to protect access and ensure quality care for all veterans, especially those receiving care at the medical centers in Ann Arbor and Detroit.

We should be helping the VA recruit and retain a qualified workforce ― not dismantling it.
Today, I gave my annual Ann Arbor State of the District to the A2Y Regional Chamber. Talked about in real-time things happening in Washington, D.C. that are impacting our district and state. There are many issues of concern.
Ramadan is a sacred time for reflection and prayer. Ramadan Mubarak to all observing in MI06!
I’m proud to earn 100% on @lcv.org’s 2024 #LCVScorecard and will keep fighting for clean air and water to protect our kids from asthma and defend our Great Lakes.

Great to see @UMichPharmacy student Wesley Wright today at the Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee hearing on pharmacy benefit managers.
Welcome to DC!
Public television stations provide an irreplaceable service by sharing public safety, educational, and local programming, every day, for free.
We must continue to invest in public broadcasting, which benefits every American, especially those in rural communities.
Tonight, House Republicans chose Trump and Elon Musk over the American people and voted to cut Medicaid.
The fight isn’t over. House Democrats we will continue to do everything we can to protect Americans’ health care.
I was lucky to get to know her and her music and kindness made the world a better place.
She was an icon. When I was in college she would sing at Mr. Henry’s. It was a college student break that allowed us to be inspired and dream. You’ve Got a Friend is one I still break out in today. Killing Me Softly With His Song is what I will always think of.
The budget that we are being asked to vote on this week makes everyday Americans sicker and poorer.
It will give the wealthiest Americans a tax cut big enough to buy a new private jet.
