I remember being trapped in the House gallery on January 6th as insurrectionists pounded on the doors.
Trump incited a violent mob that assaulted law enforcement officers. Now, House Republicans refuse to condemn Trump’s pardons of those same insurrectionists.
It’s horrifying & stunning to see this admin stand with dictators over our own allies.
We should be standing up for peace, freedom, & security worldwide. I’m deeply concerned about what today's meeting in the Oval Office means for the people of Ukraine, and I’ll continue to stand with our allies.
Any American who meets the standards and is brave enough to serve our country should be able to do so.
This cruel action hurts our military readiness and makes our communities less safe.

The government shuts down in 14 days — but Republicans haven’t passed a single funding bill.
They’re too busy trying to cut Medicaid so they can give the richest 1% a giant tax break.
House Republicans are passing immigration bills that put people at risk of deportation just for being *accused* of minor crimes.
That’s incredibly dangerous. As Republicans rip away due process rights, I’ll continue standing up for immigrants.
Capital One cheated consumers out of $2 BILLION.
But Trump’s administration is dropping the lawsuit against them and letting them get away with ripping off the American people. qz.com/cfpb-dismiss...
97,000 people in my district are on Medicaid.
Every single one of them is at risk of losing their health care because of the Republican budget plan.
Elon Musk is forcing federal agencies to give your taxpayer dollars to HIS OWN COMPANIES.
Blatant corruption in plain sight. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...
In just over a month, what have Trump and Republicans done to deliver on their promise of lowering prices? NOTHING.
Instead, they’ve made things worse for Americans with sweeping tariffs and the dismantling of agencies like the CFPB.
They have no plans to actually help you.
In the middle of the night, Trump cut 92% of USAID’s contracts — including programs to prevent millions of HIV deaths.
This is reckless and dangerous. People will die. apnews.com/article/trum...
Today, I was proud to stand with my colleagues to reintroduce the American Dream and Promise Act to give Dreamers a roadmap to citizenship.
Dreamers do essential work across our country — let’s finally pass this bipartisan bill to give them the security & protection they deserve.
Hmm... maybe DOGE isn't qualified to be running the U.S. government???

Are House Republicans okay with Trump pardoning criminals who assaulted law enforcement on Jan 6? Are they okay with some of those people having already committed more violent crimes since being pardoned?
These should be easy questions. They should be able to answer them.
Today, I joined @sylviagarcia.house.gov to reintroduce The American Dream and Promise Act.
My work with Dreamers began long before coming to Congress, and even as the Trump administration puts in place cruel and extreme immigration policies, I will continue to stand with Dreamers.
This is what dictators do — they silence the free press and only let those who are on their side ask questions. apnews.com/article/trum...
For those who missed it last night:
Almost every single House Republican voted to gut Medicaid just so they can pass a giant tax cut for the richest 1% of millionaires and billionaires.
They’re working for their donors, not you.
Donald Trump FIRED every member of the Aviation Security Advisory Committee last month. www.cbsnews.com/news/america...
99% of House Republicans just voted to gut Medicaid so they can lower taxes for the richest 1%.
They’re showing you exactly who they’re working for.
The Trump administration has fired 400 FAA workers in the past week. www.axios.com/local/chicag...
