Trump's 'Ban on Wind Power' order would make the Outer Continental Shelf ineligible for wind energy leases. Impacts: fewer renewable energy options for Americans, less competition and more profits for Big Oil and Gas, higher energy costs for consumers (9/9)
Trump's 'Destroy Alaska' orders would restore leases to extract and drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and deny the creation of an Indigenous Sacred Site there. Impacts: destruction of one the last pristine natural wonders in the US, harm to local fisheries (8/9)
Trump's 'Climate Change Denial' order would rescind several Biden orders addressing climate change, including his order assessing the financial costs of worsening climate change. Impacts: skyrocketing costs due to damage of businesses/infrastructure (7/9)
Trump's 'Freedom for Polluters' orders roll back federal regulations for fossil fuel extraction on public lands & requires agencies to draft plans to cut regulations 'burdensome' to big oil. Impacts: Fossil fuel companies are free to pollute without consequence (6/9)
Trump's 'anti-electric' order rescinds President Biden's policies boosting American electric vehicle production. Impacts: Growing Chinese dominance of electric vehicle market, loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs, increased carbon emissions (5/9)
Trump's 'Wildlife Destruction' order would compel the Army Corps of Engineers to bypass wildlife protections and the Endangered Species Act to approve fossil fuel projects. Impacts: extinction of American wildlife, destruction of habitats, pollution (4/9)
Trump's 'Paris Accords' order pulls the U.S. out of the Paris Climate agreement—again. This signals to China, India, & other nations that they can abandon efforts to fight climate change without any pushback from the U.S. Impacts: intensifying climate disaster (2/9)

Let's be clear: You need 2/3 of Congress and 38 state legislatures to ratify an amendment. Trump doesn't have that. For all that my GOP colleagues claim to love our Founding Fathers, they seem to have forgotten the words of Thomas Paine: In America, there is no king but the law.
Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) proposed an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would allow President Trump to serve a third term in the White House so that the country “can sustain the bold leadership our nation so desperately needs.”
Trump's "Free the Thugs" order commuted sentences of 1500+ charged with crimes connected to the January 6 insurrection, including violent militia leaders & one defendant who promised to shoot his children for turning him in. Impacts: increased risk of domestic terrorism (5/5)
Trump's "Security Clearances for All" order fast-tracks security clearances for members of his Administration who haven't passed a background check. Impacts: national secrets possibly being shared or sold to foreign adversaries or terrorist groups (4/5)
Trump's "Freeze Foreign Aid" order pauses all foreign development & humanitarian aid (despite it being only 1% of US budget). This will worsen international crises & lead to more refugees seeking asylum. Impacts: global instability, fewer international partners, & famine (3/5)
Trump's "Trans Servicemember" order clears the way for Trump to revive his 2017 ban on transgender people serving in the military. Impacts: worsens the existing military recruiting shortage, degrades combat readiness, loss of experienced military personnel (2/5)
The Constitution is clear: if you're born on American soil, you're an American citizen. I'm grateful there are still some within in our justice system, including GOP-appointed judges like this one, who refuse to abandon their oath of office to uphold this sacred document. apnews.com/article/birt...
