Republicans just pushed a bill that spreads lies about abortions, criminalizes doctors using their best medical judgment to treat patients in need, and strips families' ability to decide how to act in situations where a baby won't survive long outside the womb. (1/2)

Trump’s ‘Gender Ideology’ order creates a federal mandate defining gender as the sex of an embryo at conception. Impacts: As all embryos have female sex characteristics at conception, all Americans are now defined as female under this order. (3/3)
Trump’s “End DEI” order places all federal employees working to support diversity, equity, and inclusion on paid leave, leading to termination. Impacts: loss of qualified and skilled federal employees, federal labor shortage, and delayed government response times (2/3)
Yesterday, I broke down Trump’s executive orders targeting immigrant communities. Today, let’s talk Trump’s executive orders targeting minorities – I.E., every person that isn’t a white, cis, straight, able-bodied man. (1/3)
HR 29 DOESN'T secure our border. What is DOES do is subject people who have been arrested—even if never CHARGED OR CONVICTED—to mandatory immigration detention. That means someone FALSELY ACCUSED of even taking a candy bar would be detained. Even kids. Therefore I VOTE NO.
DEI programs were created to give everyone who meet objective standards a fair shot at serving our country. Diversity has changed America for the BETTER. Rolling back these programs and offices with an executive order is completely disgraceful. www.cnn.com/2025/01/21/p...
Trump's 'Ending CBP One' order has halted the CBP One app that was created so migrants can request an appointment with an immigration officer— making it nearly impossible to enter the country legally Impacts: chaos at the border, more illegal border crossings (9/11)
Trump's 'Police State Expansion' order empowers state and local police to enforce immigration law— think Operation Lone Star on a nationwide scale. Impacts: Increased injuries and deaths resulting from police chases, increased crime as police resources are redirected (8/11)
Trump's 'Increased Detention' order would push more federal resources into building and operating detention facilities and camps rather than needs of local communities Impacts: family separation, human rights abuses, and citizens mistakenly being detained or deported (7/11)
Trump’s ‘Deportation Priority’ order prioritizes targeting workplaces, hospitals, school pick-up, or people who call emergency services rather than focusing on arresting & detaining dangerous criminals. Impacts: Labor shortages in critical sectors & preventable deaths (6/11)
Trump's 'Sanctuary' order would steal federal funding from cities with so-called 'sanctuary policies'; despite the fact that these cities provide FAR MORE tax revenue to the Feds than they receive. Impacts: Budget cuts impacting schools, police, roads, hospitals, etc (5/11)
Trump's 'Alien Enemies' order resurrects the law that detained Japanese-Americans in internment camps during WWII and allows President to detain/deport natives & citizens of an “enemy nation”. Impacts: Families deported or thrown into detention camps without due process (4/11)
Trump's 'Military Deployment' order sends military personnel to patrol our U.S. border. Impacts: Police State surveillance in border communities; greater risk of violence to citizens, non-citizens, and servicemembers (3/11)
